not really a fan of her but it seems she is the male population's favourite. hahahaha. i can't have tattoo but even if i could i would not want one. 1, hate piercings. i dont even have pierced ears as many girls and women do. 2, tattoos are too permanent, to remove would be painful, to keep to old age would be to see it change shape and i dont think that would be a nice sight to behold. :)

Surprise to see that you're our male population's favorite here at BC, with a large circle of devoted admirers. Something of you beats AJ, but don't quite know what is it yet  Maybe it's your good photos... can wait to see them

On a more serious note, kind curious about your excellent writing in English. Were you also "English-educated"? I saw it mentioned by a few Masia BCers. How common to be English educated in Msia? I assume you're not a Chinese Malaysia descendent to start with.

You should have missed the name since it was not announced. But did you also miss her soft breeze on your cheeks

Now we'll never find out who guessed correctly :crying:

jug8man - all attention on lips
drift - not enough attention to cheeks
ctjcad - where is he, anyway?

    :eek::D

you're suprised? i am more suprised. but i think this will just be a passing fad. sorry to disappoint you but the only good photos i have are when i was 0-5 years old. after that it all went downhill. hahahahaha.

my english still leaves much to be desired. i make too many grammar mistakes. not english educated but must say i was tv influenced. i love all those english speaking dramas and other programmes on tv since i was really young. all malaysian learn english in school but some perform better than others. i think it depends on whether they use it outside of school. language must be practiced regularly. luckily for me, my mom was a nurse from the era where everybody speaks english (british colonisation) and she reads english newspaper. :D;) oh, and no, i am not of chinese descendant however there have been instances where chinese people speak to me in cantonese or hokkien because they think i am chinese. :)

You pointed something out, which is speaking English at home. The ones of "English educated" might not necessarily spoke English at home so their English must have learned at school then.

I can understand that your listening skill was from watching TV programs and your reading came from newspaper. Which left you with writing to work on you own and at school. I would image your writing is still much better than your friends in similar situation

all i hope for is for my writing to be understood. that's all. :D or at least sounds a lot like english as we know it. i try to improve everyday. still peruse the dictionary now and then. language to me is a lifelong process. :)

azabaz_ipoh understands more Chinese than some Chinese people

    .
    Hi Birdwood,

What surprises me about azabaz_ipoh, even though not Chinese, is her knowledge.

Just read some of her comments from our Confucius thread, starting from post#20. This thread is located at:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32883

It appears that azabaz_ipoh understands more Chinese than some Chinese people themselves. :D:D:D

I saw Leen in the group photo (link provided by drift) and also in ctjcad's link (posts #269 and #276 as you just pointed out as well). But I thought Chris@ccc has a couple of different photos since he was asking for permission to put them up. Maybe I misunderstood or maybe not :)
