The comparison hard but I think Ld is better... He won more titles I guess, especially AE..

If you think AE is better than OLYPIC, WC.
TH during 2004 to 06 won Olympic, WC and Asian Games..

AE is arguable because the participants are not limited based on WR or country or anything. I mean, especially OG...

I'd have to point out that prior to Taufik's AG victory, LD beat him twice in the group match. Though I agree, Taufik's success in WC, AG, OG made him a legend of that time period, though we've easily forgotten his inconsistencies...LD's been consistently winning everything since 2004, so he's in a much better position to surpass Taufik, especially if he wins the AG this year and is crowned gold medallist at the 2012 OG.

    Ya lor...
I miss the old super-taufik... I mean, regular 300+km'h smashes!!! :D:D That is incredible!! :D
Imagine what competition he would be to the top (i.e. LD/LCW) if he kept his form up to today!! :D
But of course, human age always takes over
That is life for an athlete as a human ^^

Everyone keep saying that Taufik are decline/weak because of his age. Human age doesnt take over(yet).
Lee Chong Wei is just a year younger then Taufik, but he is always at top of his peak. While Lin Dan is a year younger then Chong Wei. Both of them done a really good performance. What really impressive is Peter Gade, who is a 33 years old player, but still play a very great badminton and categorized as one of the strong player at this time. His mental are really strong, thats what make him still a great badminton player. While Taufik, talented, but seem not enthusiastic. If only Taufik have a spirit, discipline and strong will like on his prime time, he can get his unbelivable legend form back
