IT looks sooooo nice!!! I'm so jealous, we have nothing like that here in Davis/Sacramento (Sacramento/Yolo county). I wish one of those big gyms like Bintang, SGVBC, BBC etc would expand up here instead of inundating the Bay Area/Orange County areas. I've already tried talking to the head of BBC, maybe someone with clout down there (*cough* Dink *cough*) could convince SGVBC or Bintang to open one here in Sac/Davis.

They should make one a little closer to Long Beach, like in Cerritos or something because most of us don't have the money to drive 30 mins back and forth to play badminton in such a nice place... :(

This may be a stupid question but I was wondering if we need badminton shoes to play there? Because me and my friends are waiting for our shoes and they won't come in until next week... :(

Yes, it's "normally" required but this Panda won't be enforcing anything on Saturday. :p

    shoes or no shoes?

The old rule in SG1 was that any NON-YONEX matted courts you can use whatever shoes you want. But if you want to go on the pro Yonex green matted area to play you need badminton shoes. Though in SG1, nobody really enforces that rule. The matts get ultra tortured and flattened which kills me but oh wellz. I really think they should have a stand with a large post (16 by 22) that says badminton shoes only area. So ignorant people won't just go on and do wutever.

Pisses me off when neubs go on with some nike or addidas basketball shoes and tear it up in there.

Sorry if I offended you in any way asking if I could play on the courts using running shoes since I'm waiting for my package with my badminton shoe. Would SG 2 have non yonex court? I don't want to ruin the nice Yonex court.

There should be almost all non yonex and a few yonex courts cuz thats how it's like in SG1.

Just look for the giant Panda. :p

The ProShop will not be open yet as it's still being rennovated. Panda will be there and will bring some shuttles.

love they gym so far. looks very spacious. some people have their complains like court being a little too close and a bit different from sgvbc1 where there's a wall separating every 2 courts and therefore having better "perception" and also the lights but I think it is great so far :) of course as usual, my complain is the flooring but i think i'm getting used to it already and can jump off the ground a little now. love the locker room. very spacious but i think it could use a couple of curtains and maybe some clothes hanger for ppl in shower. also the only toilet the locker i think needs a door. no idea what woman's locker is like. since everything is still in the process, from the looks, everything will turn out just great.

Thanks Panda for the shuttles. I forgot to get like 3 or 4 more tubes before I left =.= stupid me... i didn't take pictures because I was scared my camera would be stolen when i saw the amount of people there but those pictures posted about the courts are accurate (imagine ppl in there and u get my picture :D)

I was also there and I can say I love it. I was there right when it open and its really nice. I didn't really go to the locker xD I just went striaght to the courts :p. It's funny how after you finish a match you clap with everyone and then you get that tiny electric shock xD because of the surface XP.
