Ooo?!? Nobody outstanding between 15-18 years old? Denmark already found their future in Viktor Axelsen! As for INA, my hopes are with Riyanto Subagja and Shesar Hiren Rustavito... for now...

Hayom Want to taste the greatness of "Super Dan"

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The only mainstay Pelatnas Cipayung in number the men's singles final at the Super Series tournament in 2010 in Hong Kong (6-12 December), Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka, set a target of translucent round of eight. That is because the 22-year-old player was eager to try out skills against "Super Dan".

"My target is can qualify for the last eight for the round that there is a chance I can meet Lin Dan. I want to feel how to play against big players like him (Lin Dan)," said Hayom in Jakarta, Thursday (12/02/2010).

From drawing the match, Hayom will be confronted with the host player, Yun Hu. If won, in the second round he will fight the winner between the player qualification with eighth seed from Vietnam, Nguyen Tien Minh.
While Lin Dan will be challenged in January O Jorgensen of Denmark. Where can defeat the winner between Wan Ho Shon against Chan Yan Kit, then the victory over world number four will face Hayom.
Hayom also claim to be doing repairs, especially in terms of physical ability. While on the issue of mental play against Lin Dan, he said no problem.

"My shortcomings in the physical. This is very important in the game because if you have good physical ability, wou will easily play with any strategy," said Hayom.

Hayom is too confident and too eager to meet LD :D
But the result, he can't even pass Hu Yun at R/32.
He still has a lot to learn to manage his form. Hu Yun is dangerous and sharp player, he destroyed Andre KT tamely once and he also copied some of TH style of playing. Same like Hayom did.

Congrats Hayom for winning the India GP title!

From what i watched when he face Kashyap(sf) and Suppanyu(f),Hayom absolutely dominating the net..when i think his opponent already give a great netshot and he will lift the ball, but hayom even return with a great netshot also, then his opponent lift it and hayom just thunder smash it.
Defence also wise already,i dont know whether his opponent has a weak smash or what, but from what i see Suppanyu is a big smasher tough..
    Hayom's backhand smash also amazing one(taufik wannabe??):D.

what i want from hayom in future is :
-dont underestimate whoever your opponent, from his face reaction i can see it(just imo :) :) ).
-While winning a point,he can have a small scream, coz i rare see him scream when winning a point :D.

I hope hayom will more consistent.

    thats all :)

Anyway, i think Hayom is TH Kw2. :D

Hayom never did well against Hu Yun... A few years ago, he played against Hu Yun in the HK Open too... and he lost... Hu Yun is Hayom's kryptonite or something...

    Oooo.. Kw2 = Kuwalitas 2... 2nd quality? :p

Ok, now what happened to Hayom? He is not only stagnant, but going backward instead.
Hayom only win once this 2011 (CMIIW) against Ajay Jayaram. He lost to Hafiz Hashim 3 times now.
He even lost to Lang Ville from Finland.
And worst, he disgracefully give up against LCW at Sudirman cup on 2nd set. Someone need to help him to get out of this situation.

Du Pengyu has been known to give trouble to many opponents... Looks like Hayom is able to reproduce his old magic here in the first round of Japan...

Lets see his result in the second round before speculating further.

Finally Hayom can break through to the second round... :)
I have just realized that his winning over Pengyu is his second winning in the international tournaments this year... Congratulations!!!
I hope it will be a good beginning, especially to have more confidence in himself.... :)

    The "REAL" Next Taufik Hidayat

produces 1 jumping backhand smash and 1 backhand smash. both of it is crosscourt

too bad tommy can hold both of it too. haha

hayom's smash also devastating and very effective : having both powerful speed and deadly angle
