Give us a clue? Is it low-end apacs clone or apacs own line-up? From afar it looks like Victor X80 so I think it is low-end apacs Fenapi 80.
"Other" news . Not regarding that racket ... jerby says it has an external t-joint (you can probably see it if you look for it closely) so maybe it is in the Apacs <$30 category where of course I hadn't checked before asking . Forget this model in the picture completely, "only" held to strike a pose . And no it is not Tantrum 500, doesn't even look close imo ... Stern 909 looks much more like it but also can't be it since the cone and bottom of the shaft of the racket above are white (and doesn't have external t-joint).
some info you can see at http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=244129968962008&set=pu.122555051119501&type=1&theater it seems to be slightly head havier than T200. but medium flex. T200 is stiffer.
Any idea or estimate on the pricing for the Tantrum 500? When will it be officially released in Malaysia?
So it turns out, that Apacs shoes are so good, that I am placing my order for a pair of Victor Sh8500D tomorrow.
You probably should keep trying them out. It took me about 4 weeks to "break into" my Yonex SHB-92MX. I don't know much about shoes, but I was warned that the SHB-92MX would be tough to wear initially (by a top player in my country), and I found this to be very true - I found the intrinsic muscles of my feet got a real working out and felt quite sore during gameplay. I presume now that those muscles are stronger, I am finding the shoes rather excellent - they now feel very comfortable and I feel light and fast on my feet during gameplay. Anyway, I'll make a prediction that you'll find the Victor shoes genuinely amazing. Why? Well, simply because I've never read a bad review of anything Victor on these forums hehe. Not sure why you didn't go straight for those Victor shoes from the start?
Honestly I think that in a months time, these shoes will be finished, already after one session, they ate showing about the same wear as a pair of YY's do in 2 months! I didn't go for the Victot shoes from the start, as when I went to buy them, there was none in my size, and as my other shoes were done, I had to get something. Currently switched to a pair of brand new 91MX in the meantime...
100% not. Better or not is subjective. But they are great value. But then again a Yonex is not that expensive anyway. Its not as if they need to be replaced every month. Some player bought their expensive at900p in those days but have used them for many years. Eveen selling their bashed up at900p still can command pretty high resale value.
I have a question. I am currently using an yonex armortec 600 for smashing in singles. I want to buy a new apacs racket that plays well in doubles as my university plays doubles most of the time? Anyone got any recommendations? I am a intermediate level power player. Thank you...
tantrum 200/300, slayer88/99 are highly recommended by antony who had done a lot of review for apacs's rackets. http://badminton-racket.blogspot.com/2011/04/apacs-slayer-88-review.html
Anyone know where I can get Lethal 70 or slayer 99 online? I am from US. Hard to find website selling it.
