Just to point out for those who have only the X3 Gold and Silver but hadn't seen the X2 Gold and Blue. Both X2 are less flashy but they come with the 80th Anniversary markings and RSL logo in its Union Jack colours! The X3 simply is flashier and with regular RSL logo. For playing and keepsakes X2 Gold is pretty tough (don't have the Blue, so no comment)...anyways, after a few sessions with the X2 Gold I decided to keep it for future purposes (such as bartering/selling/trading):). Don't get me wrong, it is a pretty good racket, and does everything pretty easy, drops, clears, push and smash:). I just wanted it to maintain its gilt edged surface:).

Great that you found the racket that suits you :). M10 700 looks cool when it comes with black colour string.

Guys i have a question in my newly buyed RSL Heat Ti-4900, there is an "S" marking on the Cap, what does it really means? I am really amazed the performance of this 4900 eventhough it is old model but STILL one of the BEST of RSL Rackets...

    Hi,
I own a X2 Blue, excellent racket!! Good smashing power, quite close to Yonex high-ends (Arc 10, Ti-10) etc..
I believe the M10 series shd be good as well, 800, 900, anyone tried?

lol im loving the 6900, has amazing power, feels light, but slightly head heavy with the good flex creates great power, you know if they still sell some in Cananda or I have to ask the store (R.A center) to order one ( if they are still be able to order )??

I just used my new Laser 9900 yesterday with 24lbs BG85..

the feedback is ....SUPERB !!! This is the perfect racquet. The taper shaft really makes a different..
Amazingly feels better (not that stiff when smash plus generate more power, do net kill easily more power and more steeper) compare to my Yonex A900T and Victor SW 35.

Thx to all the owners generous feedback..

what's the price for the x2?
i cant find it anywhere online.

which rsl racket is good for smashing offensive players?
is RSL better than a protech rackets?
im considering a pro tech racket atm. its on sale, from rm210 to rm150.
    mercury, saturn and earth.

    my budget is under rm200.
    many thanks in advance

    Hi barca96,

These days X2 blue is on the way out of production, u'be lucky if you can find from retail shop..
the price is also not in your budget, expect >RM 250
I can't say about the rest of RSL, but the 2 model I use, X2 Blue, M10 900 (> RM 380) are good.

For the price u pay, compare to Yonex, I'd say it is really value for money!

    Hope this helps!

X2 will cost Rm 250 above.. Considering its performance, I'd say very good value for money
The X2 Blue is one way out of production, u don;t find a lot from stores nowadays, though u might still get if lucky.

Can;t advise on protech, as I never try one.

    Cheers!

if u can afford rackets below RM300, i suggest u get RSL
definitely bang for buck and worth every penny u spent!

    haven't tried any protechs though..
but as pcyong said, Laser 9900 is a very good racket..
    i'm pairing it with Zymax 67 @ 26lbs

if u want a cheap offensive racket with decent quality..u can consider Pro Ace Sweetspot series
include string and grip..maybe around Rm150

RSL rackets seems cheaper in Malaysia, even in China "Canton area" still more expensive than that. depends on the area, they mostly comes with a nice racket bag for the higher end rackets. Ti4900 and 6900 are both a classic rackets but getting harder to find the replacement since factory stop making them. Heat 7490 is a very good value racket and it's a upgarded model for Ti4900.

Not sure it is due t our bargaining skill or the retailer succumb to lower margin.. :)
