2014 Yonex New Racket (Voltric Z-Force II / VT-ZF2)

Is the Nanoray 800 stiffer than the Voltric Z-Force??

 

i think the 800 is a tad bit stiffer than the zf, but it's possible that i feel more flex on the zf because it's head heavy while the 800 is pretty much even balance.

 

ah interesting.... I still haven't been able to try a Nanoray... Since that range doesn't suit my play that well

 

I would actually be very suprised if LCW was not using the ZF2 in the all england given he is the main promoting athlete for the racket. If he doesn't like the racket I'm sure Yonex will consider giving him ZF1's painted as ZF2's.

 

The entire frame and grommet design is different with the ZF2, so that'd be a bit pointless.

Yup, I also very surprised he didn't use it yet. When ZF1 launched 2 years ago, he start to use it in Korea Open SS opener. We were so eager to know what racket he used until Yonex officially named it. Now, Yonex reveal it without LCW using it in tournament. Bad marketing here I guess.

 

Its obvious to me that the ZF2 is for Lin Dan's new contract with Yonex

 

But have lcw advertise it? Yonex knows how to troll lololol

 

i just noticed that when something doesn't make sense with how yonex pushes their products, it's bad marketing, but when they are doing something that does make sense and can convince people to buy their product, that's just marketing, and also seen as something that's "not so good" we are just hard to please, aren't we, LOL.

sorry, back on topic, i would love to know how it feels with the new grommet system compared to zf1, i feel like i'm talking about a pair of nike air force 1.....the original!!!

 

It makes sense to remove the VTZF1, just to confirm the VTZF2 is an improved model, and not just another new racquet, which would lead to more racquet selection confusion. That way, not only the new players are trying out the ZF2 but the ZF1 players as well.....hhmmmm unagi!
