My advice is you get BS 12N , more flexible, if you feel JJS too tough for you..

To improve your defence, you're probably already doing this but I just want to reiterate... hold your grip 1-2 inches higher up, it'll speed up your reaction time.

Because he say JJS too tough, so I suggest something more flexible, BS 12N . Its used by Ahmad Tontowi,, its acceptable..

JJS 3u is only for big guy or strong wrist player.
    Otherwise, please get a 4u.

Maybe tranqq can try a 4u MXJJS instead. BS12 doesn't play like JJS at all. Totally different. I love my JJS but could never felt the same with BS12. I think 3u is heavy for him since defensive wise a bit slow.. Not due to flexibility

Not all rackets are perfect, that's why BS 12N is made for not so stiff and a bit more flexible, JJS & MX80 is more stiff rackets which are comparable to Z force or Z force limited.

JJS and MX80 is different, JJS is heavy as a whole, and MX80 at head. JJS could be slow in defense if you do not have the strength. Well, if you could perform a comfortable backhand swing/smash, then it will be good enough to play with.

Yes davlee has it right.. I like the stiffness and power the jjs offers..it just feels too heavy to play a fast pace doubles game where im constantly smashing from the back. I think ill try to improve my wrist strength though..thanks for the tips guys. Currently im using 3u mx 60 as my go to..but that decision was aidec by a shoulder injury i had and am almost fully recovered from. Im scared a 4u will be too light and not pack the power i want.. All my victor racquets are 3U and generally in the 96-97 gram range except my jjs..which i was playing at 101grams

Why are you constantly mentioning about flexibility? Dont you understand that is not his concern? Flexible so what? It doesnt play the same as JJS. Head weight also different..

I received my mx jjs and the first impression is that the head weight is very pronounced. More so than what I expected. It is balanced differently from all other meteors I used - more HH.
I played a short session last with the original grip only.
    Weight: 90.7 BP 308mm SW: 41.4 - original grip + strings bg80@27lbs
It was freshly strung so I need to go through a few sessions to fully get an idea of what's capable of.
Shaft is definitely more flex than mx70 and it generally felt better than mx70 albeit the extra head weight which I'm not familiar with. The G4 grip is perhaps a little too thin so adding an overgrip might help a little.

That does seem quite different to my JJS's. If your BP with strings and minus the cellophane wrapping is 308mm. I guess your dry BP (with cellophane) would be approx. 295mm.

For comparison, mine were both 290mm (3U). So yeah yours would feel a bit more HH.

5mm is a big difference. More than enough to be out of my comfort zone.
Victor seems to continue with their traditional weight variation.
Hope to be able to tame the beast in the coming sessions because apart from head weight it felt very nice.

I think that with overgrip your BP will be around 298, the same as mine. It is a head-heavy racket, no doubt about it. If you want something a bit quicker and lighter, then you should try 4U TK6000.

I got my eyes on tk6000, tried it a few days ago and felt very good. There are no tk6000 stocks in UK now as far as I'm aware, everyone is Christmas shopping!

New stocks arrive in Europe next week. So i would check with Direct Sports or Central Sports whether they have any on back order.

Thanks Paul, I'll keep an eye. Central Sports had the TK6000 until three days ago. Now there are no TK6000 or MX JJS on either.
I had a second session with the JJS tonight and I'm totally in love with it! The plan is to get a TK6000 and then get a backup of whichever I'll decide will be my go to.
