..congrats to INA's national team and Li Mao for reaching a new agreement, as i've already had a hunch LM would be joining them..and looks like LM's quest to dethrone CHN's players (esp. LD) and his long time competitor in LYB for the 2012 OG continues (LM banking on INA's young singles talents)..

I would agree with you for the most part, except dethroning LD. I think that LM is no longer looking at the present of dethroning LD, but is putting more work into dethroning CHN's MS once LD retires. He is looking at CJ, CL, WZM, Chen Yuekun, Qiao Bin, Tian Houwei... etc. There is no way he can even produce a player who can defeat LD in such a short span of a year.

..if the goal is to challenge the next group of youngsters from CHN, then most likely Li Mao has to re-sign w/the INA team after the 2012 OG (that scenario is still up in the air), esp. should LD receive the green light to compete in his last OG...Also, LM's goal might be long term, but he surely wants to upset his 2 biggest arch-rival & ex-compatriots, even in a team event, in these next 2 yrs before one of them retires..

I have my doubts because I feel that it is too 'high' a goal in such a short term. Of course he would LOVE to whack LD but I think he should also know that it would be almost impossible... You know what I mean. ;)

ok, to "dethrone LD" maybe sounds a bit ambitious..but i'm sure LM would love to upset both LYB & LD, in one of the major events (just like how the KOR's UC team upset the CHN's UC team in last yr's UC), before LD hangs it up for good..

Its really weird watching the QF yesterday and hearing nothing of him mentioned by the INA MNC commentators which include Ricky Subagja, as if Li Mao is nobody worth mentioning or as if there is a too tough reality to speak about. To me it shows the lack of preparation and knowledge by the presenters (not so much Ricky as he's just a guess there)

My guess is Li mao after assessing the players

he had a big headache :p

Remember a doctor was called in to join the team?

That probably was the best thing he did :D

Treat the injured first, rest them

    then fire their muscle :D

I may not know Li Mao personally

But I think this fella is good.

Looking at him coaching at one time, lcw and wch,

I can see what he can do to any player under him.

He modifies their weapon and unlease their desire/hunger to win :D

There is only Taufik (who is independent player) and Firda in single department TOP 16 Indonesia Open 2011...That's horrible..
