    Ranking order in the sub-groups
5.5.1 If two teams have won the same number of ties, the ranking will be decided by the result of the tie between them.

5.5.2 If three or more teams have won the same number of ties, ranking will be decided by the total number of matches won. If this leaves two teams equal, ranking will be decided by the result of the tie between them.

5.5.3 If three or more teams have won the same number of ties and the same number of matches, ranking will be decided by the difference between total games won and total games lost, with greater difference ranked higher. If this leaves two teams equal, ranking will be decided by the result of the tie between them.

5.5.4 If three or more teams have won the same number of ties and the same number of matches and have the same difference between total games won and total games lost, ranking will be decided by the difference between total points won and total points lost, with greater difference ranked higher. If this leaves two teams equal, ranking will be decided by the result of the tie between them.

5.5.5 If three or more teams have won the same number of ties and the same number of matches, have the same difference between total games won and total games lost, and have the same difference between total points won and total points lost, ranking will be decided by drawing lots.

If 2 teams have won same number of ties, ranking will be decided by the result of the tie between them (BWF statutes, Part III, Section 4, article 5.5.1)

Bulgaria and USA both won 2 ties, Bulgaria beat USA 3-2, that's why Bulgaria topped the group. Hope I'm not wrong...

 Yes you are right, I was looking at the 12 for Turkey and knew the total was 23 :)
I hope Turkey made the right decision in playing Ali Kaya in MD instead of XD. I was hoping for MS, WS and XD to Turkey but now ...

 Derek Wong upset Eric Pang but Zhang Beiwen went down tamely to Judith. SIN needs another pt from WD or XD.

    SIN 2 - 1 NED

SIN's Shinta is the weakest link in WD. I still remember how RUS gals kept attacking her.

SIN WD's ranking is supposed to be higher than NED but well...

Yao Jie smashed the ball to Shinta, and the Shinta hit the shuttlecock to Yao Lei, almost hit her partner's face...

I guess many PAWers pick Turkey win over South Africa. RSA XD pair forces rubber set, win second game with 21-12.

Wow, what a determined comeback from SIN to beat NED 3-1 when our young WD of Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari overcame Judith Meulendijks/Yao Jie
    15-21, 21-16, 21-17 in 49 min. :D

I must say Derek Wong did very well to defeat the more experienced Eric Pang in MS 12-21, 21-19, 21-15 in 45 min, and this must have certainly given a big boost to our WD.

If SIN can score another point from the last XD match, this will be an immense confidence booster to local born Vanessa Neo. This XD tie is between Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Vanessa Neo and Jorrit De Ruiter/Ilse Vaessen of NED.

    Singapore Also Can ....
