If 2 teams have won same number of ties, ranking will be decided by the result of the tie between them (BWF statutes, Part III, Section 4, article 5.5.1) Bulgaria and USA both won 2 ties, Bulgaria beat USA 3-2, that's why Bulgaria topped the group. Hope I'm not wrong...
Yes you are right, I was looking at the 12 for Turkey and knew the total was 23 I hope Turkey made the right decision in playing Ali Kaya in MD instead of XD. I was hoping for MS, WS and XD to Turkey but now ...
Derek Wong upset Eric Pang but Zhang Beiwen went down tamely to Judith. SIN needs another pt from WD or XD. SIN 2 - 1 NED
Hey Jutawin, U were not stick to this forum either, like me. ~ INA vs KOR and MAS vs CHN - and what, INA vs MAs in final ? We had to go through DEN first. And it's not going to be a smooth one. Let's die trying, yea. Wish u luck, indo. China is beatable ~ have faith on that first.
SIN's Shinta is the weakest link in WD. I still remember how RUS gals kept attacking her. SIN WD's ranking is supposed to be higher than NED but well...
Where is Frances Liu?? I didn't even check beforehand when they played Russia and expected the WD to go to Singapore (WS, MD and either WD or XD) but didn't turn out that way...
Yao Jie smashed the ball to Shinta, and the Shinta hit the shuttlecock to Yao Lei, almost hit her partner's face...
zzzzzzzzzzz...... ..it ain't exciting without any webstream...will there be a webstream for the night matches??.. ..it's night time here, in North America..perfect time to get some zzzzz..
I guess many PAWers pick Turkey win over South Africa. RSA XD pair forces rubber set, win second game with 21-12.
IND deserved to be in Group 2 for next Sudirman Cup........their standard now are much higher than those in group 3 and some team in group 2 too...........
Wow, what a determined comeback from SIN to beat NED 3-1 when our young WD of Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari overcame Judith Meulendijks/Yao Jie 15-21, 21-16, 21-17 in 49 min. I must say Derek Wong did very well to defeat the more experienced Eric Pang in MS 12-21, 21-19, 21-15 in 45 min, and this must have certainly given a big boost to our WD. If SIN can score another point from the last XD match, this will be an immense confidence booster to local born Vanessa Neo. This XD tie is between Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Vanessa Neo and Jorrit De Ruiter/Ilse Vaessen of NED. Singapore Also Can ....
