Eh Sealman, we were 6th seeds lah. We beat Chia SC & Ericcy 8-21, 21-16, 25-23. Very close match huh? Hi tank2008, I stay at CCK St 64. If you are ever short of players, just give me a hoot at 97434039. I'll be there in 10 minutes to help! Thanks!
Yes, I will surely invite Mongoose to join us to have some nice games and most important, to dig what the other things are. Bruce & Mustafa played a tough match with Chia and Ericcy at IMH, 3 sets.
Indeed a tough match. Not easy to beat Chia and Ericcy. No way for me. Your true name is Bruce or Mustafa? White shirt or yellow shirt in the picture taken at IMH on page 199 of CCK Sat team? Do you want to join us this Sunday? 1-3pm, C2.
He's in white. And yes, Mus is a good and very experienced player. I have learned a lot from him when I played with him regularly a couple of years back. He's very sociable and always willing to share what he knows. Nowadays, Mus is not as competitive and crazy about badminton as before. Although he plays more for leisure, he can still kick some serious butt.
Thanks, Phi Then I will have good chance to learn from him. Now I'm crazy about badminton, just like him years ago. Haha...
From Left, Alex & Jacky Didn't take photo for them, as I was waiting for camera to come. This picture was taken at Woodlands SH during the friendly match at away court. My mistake.
Where is 2nd pair: Jeremy & Hwa VS Clifford & Ben: 20:22, 10:21? Didn't know ZenoVka plays for Woodlands Team.
Zenovka know one guy from Woodlands. I think the republic champion, the tall guy. Very sorry, I didn't have camera when they started to play. 1st and 2nd pair started first. Later we all forgot. My mistake again. Will do a better organizer next time, need to get help from other friends. :crying:
It's alright. I used to book badminton courts and organise friendly matches before so I know. Being the organiser is not easy.
Good to know you were an oganizer before. Indeed not easy, but passion about badminton drives me to do so for 5+ years already. Haha... Luckily I got to know badmintoncentral and now it is not as tough as before, always needed to worry if can get enough players.

I tend to agree to this - Good back hand for High intermediate. Then for low intermediate, it's good strokes with some light footwork. For mid intermediate, it's an improvement of the low intermediate with better strokes, jump smashes and good footworks. It's subjective though. Still between high beginner to low intermediate for me now.
