Had my demo with Victor last Saturday. I was so impressed I ordered two TK6000's and a JJS there and then and fortunately Ben who demo'd the rackets had a new JJS with him. I played Tuesday night and coached again today and am over the moon with the JJS. A bit like a really good sports car connects you with the road, you feel connected to the shuttle. The touch and feel around the net, for me at least, was superb and from the back of the court offered plenty of power. The reason for the TK6000 purchase was although it lacked the finesse around the net, the sheer power and feel from mid and rear of the court was quite simply, AWESOME! Looking at the quality of the rackets I can't wait to see the rest of the gear, particularly the shoes as Yonex has gone down hill lately.
Totally agree, the power was expected really but what surprise me the most was the feel and connection you have with the shuttle - which made touchy feely shots and drop shots from the rear really satisfying to play.
it don't really matter to some of us which player uses what racket at the moment ... as long as it's a good racket, it'll be popular
yes, one of the most direct rackets in existence... meaning it becomes an extension of your arm... just think, and it's there doing what you want to do however, it's also very demanding... i only use mine when i'm feeling very strong.
Can any1 make a comparison btween JJS and Li Ning n55? The energy transfer? Head heaviness? Tq in advance
Visor - How do you compare the stiffness of MX80, MXJJS, XP70, NRZ, Arc10(from prev posts, i am guessing you have played with all )... And is JJS much less stiffer than 80 or is it only slightly less stiff ?? Also, can anyone else compare the stiffness of MX90 with JJS?
Finally I have my JJS demo again so will be on court tomorrow comparing JJS and MX90. I'm delaying my review of MX90 to give me time to finish this review properly. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
I feel N55I is head heavier but it is mainly due to aerodynamic I think. Mx JJS feels stiffer so, for energy transfer, it depends if you prefer mid-stiff or stiff racket. Mx JJS is a very good double racket which is not the case of N55I (N55II is better for men double in my opinion)
i agree aside from the part about aerodynamics. n55 simply has more head weight. mine measures 298mm wet when jjs is 296. although the numbers are close, the jjs feels significantly head-lighter. also jjs is much stiffer than n55.
[MENTION=30510]nanocrazy[/MENTION] Just shaft stiffness alone: MX80 >> JJS > XP70 > Arc10 > NRZ MX80 is crazy stiff whereas NRZ is mid stiff but the heavy head makes it feel mid flex
Hi Guys : Based on my understanding , Superwave 35 is the stiffest racket of all follow by MX 80 , then JJS, N90 I then Z force. Jang Sung won many titles with Superwave 35 and MX 80
Mx JJS has a sharper feel like "metallic". If you can bend its stiff shaft, it has more power (stiffer, same head weight and much more aerodynamic -> faster speed). But Mx JJS is less comfortable especially if you are late on the shuttle x)
