U can also try newlink sports in queensway shopping ctr, 2nd floor (straight in from escalator at the corner). Say I recommend you and you will get a good price.
Hi , Can somebody let me know which are the good sports shop to buy yonex or ashaway or any good badminton racket around changi airport in singapore ? It would really be helpful , if someone can reply on this in next three days Thanks in advance
I dont recommend you to go the sports shop at changi, prices are way too expensive for the high-end yonex rackets. Best place to get will still be queensway shopping centre, but it'll be an 1hr and 15 min away from the airport .
i am afraid not at changi airport if i am not wrong... nearest is tampines..safra see here http://tualobang.blogspot.com/2010/07/play-gear-opening-salesafra-tampines.html
Thanks alextan and saber10 , can you guys give me any links where i can check prices online in singapore
no problem , i tried searching for online catalogues from singapore , but surprise surprise !!, i found not even one
Hi Alextan / saber10 , any idea about racket prices in singapore , am not asking anything specific, do let me know the prices , for whichever brands or models from yonex or li-ning etc you know .
Yonex Voltric 80 = SGD 250 include string and grip. Li Ning N90 II Woods = SGD 469 racket only.(Exclude discount as much as SGD 100) Those are from Chau Beng,Queensway. Use as price reference.
Yup , here's a good reference. Prices at the airport can go up to $288 for the voltric 80. That's if they have the stock.
best go queensway shopping..... sure got stock... take a taxi..... ...n any taxi driver in singapore will bring u.... there...
Its really gr8 to see you guys reply so earnestly , appreciate it a lot alextan , saber10 , Rivai Zhukov I am looking more at rackets which are not as high end as a voltric 80 or woods N90 , because i ll be buying some 4 to 5 rackets for me and some friends who play together regularly here in bangalore. So , if you guys can let me know costs of mid-range rackets like , Ashway archblades , arch striker or Yonex nanospeed series , MP series ,Yonex shoes and stuff or any other brands like li-ning, anything around 100SGD or lesser may be . Sorry for the trouble guys
About 100SGD would be the nanospeed 850 and lower range Arc sabers. Yonex shoes are roughly about $110-$130 for the high end ones and $40-$60 for the mid-range. It all goes down to the shop you are buying from
Actually the perfect place for u would be mustafa centre....no gimmicks in their pricing and its reasonably price for all their products with some on discounts as well....super big megamart where u can do all ur shopping in ur trip here as well and is patronized by Indians/Bangladeshis widely as it's located in "Little India" of Singapore....the actual road name is at Syed Alwi Road if u are taking a cab.....anyway from Changi to Queensway S.C would take u no more than 45mins if u are taking a cab
does anyone here have contact number for chaubeng as i want to know the prices of voltric 80 and arcsaber z slash taufik hidayat. will they give a discount and a special price if i buy this at once? and will they accept Australian cash?
Normally retailers would not disclose discounts through phone checking if u ask me....if u go down personally and bargain with them can probably close a better deal Anyway this is their tel no: 64745668 and no harm trying

hey thx for the info but they should be able to discount me for buying two high end ones at once and will they accept australian dollars?
