Yup, good news Now, INA has three level international tourneys (SS, GP Gold and Int.Challenge). East Kalimantan province, either Samarinda or Balikpapan.
The main sponsor has not been decided... but the Governor of East Kalimantan has so much money that he probably feels he does not need any sponsors at all...
I see.. ..thanks for confirming that.. I guess they've sparred in Pelatnas before, so they would at least already be familiar w/each other. I guess it now comes down to how they'll do against real competitions. *Hauge, so, no trip to M'sia, yet??
Having looked at the Calendar for 2010, here's my suggestion on the tourneys that the Pelatnas players should be aiming for: FIRST TEAM PLAYERS: Feb 2010 - Thomas/Uber Cup Preliminaries Mar 2010 - All England & Swiss SS Apr 2010 - Badminton Asia Championships (for some first-team players) May 2010 - Thomas/Uber Cup FINALS Jun 2010 - Singapore & Indonesia SS; or Thailand GPG (for some first-team players) Jul 2010 - Malaysia GPG or Macau GPG (for some first-team players) Aug 2010 - World Championships (for those who qualified) or Chinese-Taipei GPG Sep 2010 - Japan SS Oct 2010 - Indonesia GPG (for some first-team players) Nov 2010 - Asian Games Dec 2010 - Hong Kong SS Again, 10-12 Events depending on the individual players' needs. Pairs like Nova/Butet and Kido/Hendra probably need to compete in less events (preferably less than 10) to make sure they are in a prime condition for the WC and Asian Games - the two main targets for them. SECOND TEAM AND PRATAMA PLAYERS: Apr 2010 - Badminton Asia Championships & Ciputra Hanoi Int Challenge Jun 2010 - Indonesia SS & Thailand GPG Jul 2010 - Malaysia GPG & Indonesia Int. Challenge or Macau GPG Aug 2010 - Chinese-Taipei GPG Oct 2010 - Vietnam Open GP & Indonesia GPG Dec 2010 - India Open GP At most 10 Events for the Second Team players to get important match experiences and climb the rankings table. JUNIOR PLAYERS: Mar 2010 - AJC Apr 2010 - WJC Jun 2010 - Tangkas Alfamart Junior Int Challenge Jul 2010 - Singapore Int Series and Indonesia Int. Challenge Aug 2010 - Youth Olympics Games Priority is in AJC, WJC & Youth Olympics Games.
^^Did you take any pictures of her??..^^ ..btw, more info of her in thread below: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72543
Been told that Tantowi will partner with Grace...dont know which tournament they will try out..for now..Devin/butet...at one point, Devin pair with Shendy...anyway...anything can change...
Hendra and Kido, at las, been given permission to leave Pelatnas, with one condition that they have to play for INA team if needed and sponsored by Yonex...LIning was about to sign them BIG time
So, Rendy Sugiarto lost again in Kejurnas....the time to get a new partner should be imminent now And I hope the coaches don't break Angga/Rian for the sake of Rendy I would like to see Rendy partnered with Riky Widianto!
