Btw. I noticed they have the strining pattern in the mizuno catalog.. (was handy when i left it to the stringer today :) )

Also interesting to find there was a grommet pack :) for TC700 for 420 yen :) :)

Seems like that the TC700 has one extra cross-string than the TC500..

My friend ordered the tc700 from a Chinese auction site but I wont encourage you to take the same risk I did as the sellers may not be reliable.

The retail price of the tc700 is RMB1380 (USD201) but you could actually conduct live negotiations online with the seller. Payment is via a third party (not sure of company name but the system works similarly to paypal i was told) and you need to set up with an account with this company. The racket was couriered, from guangdong (where the seller was based) to tianjin where my friend is staying, within a day. Very efficient indeed. I am not sure if the sellers ship internationally.

Nice Tetra CP SS you've got there :).. very unique racquet.

I have a paint chip on the shaft of my red AT700. I painted the chip with white paint first, then went over with red.. luckily it wasn't over where the wordings are.

You can try those touch up paint for cars. Alot of the racquets nowadays have metallic finish similar to those on cars.

lol.. I just used normal acrylic paint. It does the job, the chips are so minor, it's not noticable even from a short distance.

Acrylic paint is just ordinary paint... not oil-based, and it's very easy to use.
You can buy it at almost any stationery shop.

I tested my 3ug5 tc700 (strung with bg66) two nights ago during my badminton session.

I thought its quite a hefty stick and the weight of the tc700 is close to a woven7. I found it heavier and more demanding than my 3u mp100. imho the tc700 is a powerful racket and the feel is similar to mp100/ti-10/woven7/woven7i. just my $0.02. :)
