I think you and ctjcad need to go back to basic biology 101. Obviously its a space shuttle piggy backing a jumbo.
I bought it brand new in 1988 and it's my main camera at work from 1991 to 1997. But it has been retired shortly after I got a F5 from the newspaper company. As for the motor drive. It's a MD4 with maximum driving speed of 5 frames per second. Though it's relatively slow when comparing to a modern DSLR. It was one of the fastest motor drive in the market at that time. You know, I m gonna hang it on the wall as one of my home decoration. That would be a good one!
^^That Nikon F3 pic could be a possible preview..^^ ..of what's to come in 20+ yrs time, when we all look back at the Canon 1D MarkIII...
Chris, That F3 still works great. Just as good as it should be! The only bad thing that we can find is just a little cosmetic imperfection. On the contrary, I think the life cycle of all DSLRs are shorter. Therefore, other than the functionality. It might still look as good as a new one after 20 years!
