I tagged your comments to see if mine will disappear as well. Hehe.
FYI. I am not a LD fan.

When I first watched professional badminton and didn t know the history of both LCW and LD, I thought LCW was more talented. Sure, LD has his overhead smash power and that stands out but power is a common gift. What strikes me about LCW is his natural gift in movement, not just in footwork but also in recovery and reflex. That s why LCW s gift in speed is unique and uncommon. But fans tend to perceive LD as most talented because power is more glamorous and more obvious than speed.

In fact, The Telegraph journalist who covered AE11, and sounded like he s just watched both LCW and LD play for the first time, described LCW as an extraordinary talent. The reason LCW beats his opponents is his unique speed. He wins when he uses it well and so far, he s getting better at it as he grows older and wiser.

    dear George,
try to read & figure out eaglehelang's comment again and what she's suggesting and try to figure out my question and what i'm suggesting..
*psst, i already know that is the Teh dude. And i already know the dude sitting next to him. Not asking for their names. Btw, is Teh Siu Bok related to another BC member named elvinteh(?) (who supposedly is related to another coach Teh, who owns a baddy facility)?

Hahaha... There are some of us who are getting wiser now. :D:D:D

Yes, some BCers often get off-topic; and we get dragged into another subject matter.

Good post which gives good examples

    .
Good post which gives good examples. :):):)

It is now shown (to those who wanted to see proof) that to become ranked World No.1, it is not necessary to play in more tournaments (as many posters have been trying to say all along).

Also that, to play in more tournaments, it is not necessary that a player will become ranked higher.

..it takes both: no. of tournaments and how far a player finishes in each tourney..If Lin Dan is only ranked 2nd, imagine where he would rank if he had only played in half of the no. of tourneys he's participated so far..
