    maybe coz the racquet is manufactured before 2000 coz i have a Cab 8200 which doesn't have serial on shaft as well :rolleyes:

    ...because, as you said, it's a very old racquet ;)
    Back then, Yonex didn't incorporate the imprint system.

    I think the racket is bought in 1999 or 2000 but i have no extact date.. it had all the original yonex sign ... just have no imprint system. so that's why i am curious ....

    Hi i have purchased 2 rackets

    serial numbers are Nanospeed 9000 3748033 270389SP
    Nanospeed 800 2007030 311260JP

    both bought from a auction house in Chertsey
    Both bought for £22.00

    Any info would be gratefully rec'd

    Is there any reason why you think it is a fake when you bought from an auth dealer in BC (not Badminton Central).

    Sportsmart is real rackets so don't worry. The prices that you bought at could of got you better rackets from other brands.
