has anyone done any quality comparison between similar model bag that is bought from the US vs. bought from HK?

there is quite a price difference, a 6 racket bag in HK is around US$25 while a similar one is US$50+ in the US.

it is time for me to get a new bag. mine is nearly 10 yrs old. :crying:

My guess is that the USA has taxes so that's why it cost more. JP bags are higher quality than the rest of the world but cost more.

certain items from Yonex has definite quality differences in order to make the product cheaper for lower income countries, SE Asia don't get the higher quality clothing for example.

US might get higher quality ones as there are stricter warranty terms. i just want to know if anyone knows.

if not, i might get one of each to compare.. :)

Doesn't hurt to have a backup bag in case your main bag rips.

i will say, just get it from HK.
USD50 for 10 years, 100 times badminton session a year, which will come to USD0.05 per usage.
after 5 years of HK yonex bag normal usage, please do review back to us. :D:p:D:p
    thanks.

kwun, are u sure both version are identical? I have seen some 'yonex' bags from SG that has white stitching. Like clothings, i think SP version are lower quality.

For good investment and longer lasting bag... get a JP version instead. There is not much difference between HK and US bag. They uses the same materials. Big difference is JP bag.
