    Just lucky to be here...

thank you for the background about Ashton, he's very promising player.
hope NED WD beat RUS in other court, and your WD win, SIN will fight against THA for a place in Group 1 in 2011

Anyone has the H2H record for the WDs? It could really boil down to this last match ! In my opinion, the 1st 2 matches cud be split between DEN (XD) and MAS (MS). MD and WS is 50:50 both KKK/TBH and WMC look unconvincing . So it boils down to WD as the decider. What a cracker this gonna be....!

Oh so you're the man in the right place! :D

I have to day kudos to SIN's young WD team for defeating the bigger-sized Polish ladies (they must be bigger right?) 21-18 and put SIN top of the Group to meet THA for promotion to Div 1 (like football).

Hope our XD pair can win to give SIN greater confidence in their next encounter. :p

Sweden, once was European giant, finally saves their place in Group 3, beat Australia 3-1.

Sweden played in Group 1 in 2005, relegated to play in Group 2 (2007), and again relegated to play in Group 3 this year. So happy they are not relegated again, three times in a row...

    Wah, very sporting huh! :D

But, SIN beat NED 4-1 and RUS managed only 3-2 against them.
So we may yet be leaders!

And Poland beat Russia 3-2! But SIN beat POL already even if it is 3-2.
    So how?

Well, I might be wrong :)
RUS already clinched their tie, win 3-2 against NED.
SIN XD still on the court. Let's see what the latest standing will be

I know u r kidding but Kido's knees are not fully recovered and he needs more rest than the rest. It would be the stupidest decision to let Kido playing singles.

Guangzhou Gymansium is so quiet.... POL XD lead in interval, 11-8, and the crowds were busy with themselves....no claps...

come on, this is a stadium or cemetery?

Hendra Setiawan/Mohd Ahsan are probably the fittest among the 6 MD players and they have been trained in case they are needed as a scratch pair (like tonight) against CHN and more importantly against KOR in the SF. A victory in the SF against the reigning All-England champion Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun will certainly boost their confidence ahead of the anticipated tie against Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae in the SF on Saturday.

Yup, Copadh is right, if two teams are on equal pts, head to head records come first and not the number of matches won and lost.

This was the same situation during Malaysia's victorious Thomas Cup campaign of 1992, they were 2nd in the group cos they lost to Korea despite superior win-loss match ratio.
