BJSS Badminton Players. Most of our nation badminton player comes from BJSS. Though there are some from BAM junior squad who are not part of BJSS. The program have been successful from the start and there are some good player who graduated from there like, Arif, Tan Wee Keong, Woon Khe Wei and etc. With the guidance of the Junior National Coach from China Sun Chenghua, there is a significant breakthru. This year the first batch of junior have been promoted to the national back up squad and we have seen a better result in all areas for example. Boys single: Arif and Lim FangYang Girls single: Lydia Cheah Boys Double: Mak and Khim Wah, Goh Wei Shen and Ong JiangGoh Girls double: Goh LuiYing and Woon Khe Wei, (Ng Hui Ling non BJSS) Mixed Double: Tan Wee Keong and Woon Khe Wei, Kim Wah and Ng Hui Ling These are the asian junior team and the world junior team last year. I hope there is a continuous success after this batch and new talent will be identify. 2008 potential in my list are: Boys: Mak Hee Chun ( still eligible to play in the junior), Teo Kok Seong, Kuan Kam Cheong (18 years old) Iskandar and Shawal (17 years old) Girls: Viven Hoo, Santasha (18 years old) and Tee Jing Yee (17 years old) I am not familiar with the much junior player like the 15 and 16 years old though i know of Zulfaldi who is 15 years old and not from BJSS but KLRC. He is has great potential and i hope he is being nurture well for the future. I heard he will be able to play for the 1st Youth Olympic in 2010. Anybody who heard of good potential player and have information on the player please share?
