I wouldn't mind rackets coming unstrung. That way we can take a look at how the frame holds up when under pressure from stringing!

Yeah they'll be available both strung and unstrung. Also initially there won't be any local distros so there will be price breaks for those who want to order multiple rackets.

I'm pretty sure Maklike hasn't even finalized any sort of contract with a factory yet, so there's no definite answer to your question until then.

Nah, still waiting on quotes from 3 factories, first. Got two so far, but I want another three.

From there I'll get some prototypes made, spend some time testing and evaluating them, and THEN I'll decide where to go from there. 4 protos are already on their way, with hopefully more to follow in the upcoming weeks.....

I'm gunna need a bigger racket bag :)

I'm not sure about RRP pricing yet, but I don't expect there to be much difference to, say, RKEP or DC.

You know where to look if you are looking for help testing those prototypes :) remember we are the only people on the forum able to pick the winner for Last Sunday's men's singles match. That must count for something... ;)

Well don't worry, it's during the Easter holidays so it's not like I'll ever be going anyway.

Regardless, there won't really be any need for overseas testers as I have heaps here already, but there will be some good incentives for anyone who wants to get behind by crazy little project.

I'm intrigued - what are these incentive schemes?

Well, I'm still yet to evaluate them thoroughly, but things I'm looking into are things like -

    1. Ambassador Scheme.
Sort-of like sponsorship, but not based solely on performance - I'm looking for big personalities, players with great attitude esp those that love their gear and aren't afraid of trying new stuff. (And guys who get involved in this thread and help me out with good advice and feedback :) I've already promised a racket to one lucky forumer!)

    2. Quantity Breaks.
Initially I won't have distributors overseas and sales will be direct only, but there will be price breaks for quantities for those that want to, say, do a group-buy amongst their mates, for example.

    3. Early Adopter Bonus
Those that get in on the ground floor when the racket is first launched could receive special items such as string logo stencil, commemorative t-shirt, decals, or game shirt etc. These items would be exclusive to the launch and never repeated.

    That sort of thing. :)

@Maklike Tier - maybe you could also add some info on the cone like Victor. HH...HL and S....F. I always liked that part on Victor rackets.

If he does it, you know there'll be at least 7 dots on the spectrum!
