    The reason for deletion has been set out by modious.

    I would say it would be nice if the thread is locked it with a message saying moved/deleted etc... instead of deleting the thread as if it never existed. An exception would be if the post was inappropriate that it should be removed.

    In fact, a 'closed' message is posted whenever there's a point to be made.

    However, for an insensible thread that has no place in the forum, allowing it to stay allows it to be read as well.

    Result: 'Poof, it's gone'.

    but at least that 'someone' who deleted a member's posts or threads must give notice or send a pm to the poster about thread/post have been deleted/moved:rolleyes:;)
