From the article, BAM is involved

    .
Even if this is not organised by BAM, we can read from the article that BAM is involved.

I would like to bring up this topic again. Now that Chong Wei Feng and Liew Daren are starting to produce one or two upsets, can we possibly see 2 good but not top players? It is IMPOSSIBLE to replace somebody who is as excellent as Lee Chong Wei.

Muhammad Ali, an American Heavyweight boxer said:

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing."

MAS next LCW or even better than LCW are on his way...

how many years ago was the previous LCW playing?

that would probably tell us how long we need to wait for the next....

but firstly, who is the previous one?
i have 2 names that come close on my list, but there are still not as great as LCW. Eddy Choong and Wong Peng Soon. both of them won numerous titles, including many times the All England... However, we also need to know that the game in the past is much less competitive then current game.

and both of them, happens to be active in the 1950s....

    thats half a century.

I have a different opinion. The games played in the 1950s were very different from present day. It's very hard to compare these players at that era to the ones we see on super series now. That said, I am still of the opinion that Eddy and Wong Peng Soon were some of the best players representing Malaya. Their achievements were nothing short of remarkable and excellent, they won All England, Thomas Cups, beating some Danish players are simply amazing. Yester players should and will continue to deserve as much respect as any great players in present day.

I think as long as there is a proper framework for MAS badminton, the conveyor belt will still able to churn up top 10 players, but the bigger problem now is the belt is not working properly !
