here's a panorama i took in singapore last year. i can't remember if this is boat quay or clarke quay. there's no one around because it was 7:30am on a public holiday.

unfortunately this doesn't look so good because it's been downscaled to 800x146, but the full res is 5474x1000, made up of 9 photos side by side.

..alright, there are no pics in this post, but just want to share this inspirational story of a totally blind photographer..
I know he doesn't do action/sports photography, and don't know if you guys have heard of Pete Eckert before or have read his story, but this morning i had a chance to catch his story on tv(NBC):

here's one from me! I think this girl thought I was an official photographer for the event. I just happened to be in Lan Kwai Fong having a drink with a friend when this event came round.

There was some event going on - free hugs to make people feel better! There was a film crew around as the event was sponsored by the local cable company.

So there I was taking some photos, the model notices me and gives me a nice pose for the camera.;)

It was on spot metering Av f2.0, ISO800, shot in RAW and only processed to the jpeg image. I used the 50mm f1.8 lens. Damm, I wished I brought my 50mm f1.4 but because I was in LKF experimenting, I thought I'd bring the cheaper lens out 'just in case' somebody wanted to test pouring beer over the camera and lens.

Ha, you seems always has privilege to being misconceive as official photographer. 50/1.8 is one of your cheaper lens for experiment, how about ur 20D:p

That's a good question! Seeing how many people those girls hugged, I wasn't too keen on getting any hugs myself;)

Red, How did you guess correctly? But I was only taking photos and having a drink that night - nothing extraordinary. The alternative was watching Sudirman Cup on TV.

The following photos were taken using my sister's Olympus mju 710 All-Weather Digicam.

I'm looking for a good digital camera. Any recommendation?

A European semi-truck whose trailer is decorated with Pepsi cases all stacked on the ceiling, and the bottom of the trailer appears to be empty.
