    Being in Japan has a lot of perks :p and last night as I was reading this board who pops up on TV? Ogura and shiota!!! :)
    They were on a late night interview show :)
    I recorded it using my phone and wanted to upload it but I can't seem to transfer to my computer :( will see what I can do

    Japan's national championships

    The Japanese national championships were also held this weekend. In women's doubles, Kumiko Ogura/Reiko Shiota beat Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda 21-17, 17-21, 21-9.

    How come the trophies are at different sizes? It appears to me as WS champion and runner-up instead of WD.:rolleyes:

    Those trophies are considered ok size... you have not seen bigger ones given in tourneys in Japan yet. Usually the trophies are bigger and comes together with a certificate as well.
