I could change my grips once a week with a set of 50.

Put on RKEP G09 Elite grip on. Does it weigh more than Yonex Supergrap? Both are white color.

Supergrap is 5.3g, while white g09 is 6.4g. (make sure all excess backing and end tape is removed.).....Don't you have a brand spanking new digital scale? :p

. Just making sure it wasn't broken already. Cuz now my VT80 wet weight is 96.6g with RKEP. Was 95.8g with the Supergrap.

G09 is a super tacky type with a little solid surface (could last longer) -- will sure a light more heavy.

Our G11 will even lighter --- G11 new batch will come later this year

First impression with the RKEP G09 Elite is that it is a bit more tacky (for the first couple of games) than the Yonex Supergrap. Now it's to see how long before I change them.

But all things considered...cuz it's cheaper and tackiness is not less...I'd be buying RKEP grips from now on. The extra 1g in weight is not a good enough reason not to buy the RKEP grips.

I actually don't like it too tacky, like how the pink one feels when new, coz I switch grips very frequently and quickly during my md games. The white feels tacky initially but what I like best about them, other than them being the lightest g09, is that after a few hours of play they feel just slightly tackier than supergrap and this just right feel will last for many weeks. :) .....Btw, I'm expecting a package today! :D

a lot of people have noted that pink/red/green are the tackiest but would it be asking too much if we could have a sticky of the available rkep grips and their perceived tackiness

    Eric,

Just received my order. The grip works great. :)

However, a little suggestion for the future. The finishing tape I think is too smooth. This is probably why it keeps coming undone so easily. Have you ever considered a slightly "matt" finishing on the tape so that it is easier for the sticky stuff to grip onto?

the RKEP finishing tape is horrible. they springs back and leave yucky residue. do yourself a favor and order a roll of Nitto grip end tape:

it is the best tape i have ever used. a roll will last 50-100 rackets at least.

Just use black electrician tape, divided down the middle to make it narrower. It stays much better.

I tried the G10 and G09, but so far, I sweat way to much for both.. The 10 in yellow start slipping out of my hands within an hour of play.
The G09 is far better, but they get soaked very quickly as well, it doesn't seem to stay dry. While I like the tackyness and feel of G09 when it comes to dry-feel I still think old-fashioned supergrap wins.
Maybe I should try a different Rkep grip, but which would you recommend?

EDIT: btw, I tried the G09 in white yellow black green blue and red. All the darkers colours where the worst of the bunch, but yellow and white felt good; but even they started slipping within 2 sessions and after letting them dry they just got soaked again very easily.

^^^ Would grip powder work with these pu grips? Perhaps you gotta start applying antiperspirant onto your racket hand before you play. :p :D

Any bros in sg willing to let go a couple of G09 for me to try?. Getting 24 pcs at one go might be too much for me.
