6 points against Japanese pair brother. A world ranked #40 pair. Acceptable?

Mak/Twk have actually defeated Korea's Ko/Yoo before, during the recent Japan SS I think.

These guys must have eaten something wrong. Maybe too much good food there. No wonder lost. ;) Or too many 'Gong Li' look a like? ;)

i see this as the same case as tago kenichi the 2nd time he met lcw

once, having the fear of under performance,

    the results will be devastating.

Anything below 10 is considered under-5 in old system. Trashing. So learn from this and never go below 10 again. ;)

the new blood have to start somewhere and

we should expect the worst than the best of them.

its their first big stage and if they under performed,

    we should be prepared.

but with 6 points, i guess you should feel shock..lol

Allow me to bring up an old issue. Back in 2009 I think I ever
comment about Mak/Tan wearing earring on the court during
National GP final. I have nothing against them but I mentioned,
if you wanna be stylish, you can, but win some titles first, but
not now. Your mind should think of badminton only not about being
stylish and presentable on court. If your mind think of something else,
the result would not be great.
Of coz I received a lot of bashing back then. Saying I am unreasonable
and out of my mind. Now we can see the quality of players we have.

any other but not this one, I never concur with the idea to send Mak/Tan...........

I have seen them play before, I know what they are capable of.....but with only 6 points...Its 'out of this world' !

Once we send them out to majors, they cannot perform, then by all means don't use them again. Why is the win so important? This is more of experimenting.

TC, we sent Fuzzy. If we had used MHC/TWK, will they be chosen again for the AG?
The thing is, all of you are too focused on WINNING rather than experimenting and trying out. Now, we have learnt our lesson, don't use MHC/TWK anymore, try GWS/TKS next. During TC, we used Fuzzy, so they were switched out. Same goes to MHC/TWK.

People have said about using Fuzzy again. Sure, they might win but do we know whether should MHC/TWK be used next time?

Not sure if you guys get my point. But in conclusion, they did not make a wrong choice in sending MHC/TWK.

I don't think they spend the whole day choosing what earrings to wear rather than training. The point is DISCIPLINE, not about earrings affecting performance. Same thing should go for KKK.

KKK wearing earings doesnt effect his performance, he already wear earing before he won the AG, AE. My main pt (as was some other non Msian members) wear or not wear earing does not effect their performance, the non earing wearing ones also results not good.

If you feel that way, then problem, Goh Wei Shem & another one or two MD also wear earing, lol.

I think what Daniel trying to express was to try hard and concentrate for the results first before wanted to have 'gaya' on court !!

i wonder who bashed you way back..lol

actually this is important it just show their mindset.

if we take a look psychologically these guys doesn't have full confidence in themselves yet,

that's why they want to follow their idols or some trend....

why can't they be themselves and make themselves for others to follow?

    in psychology
not all of them are lack of confident
some might feeling good about themself and try to express in public on how well they are
in psychology there is no =
one plus one doesn't 100% equal to 2
hence wearing earring doesn't = lack of confident

The above 2 posts shows one understand what I wanna say and another doesn't catch the ball at all....or pretend not to understand. While another redundant comment, I will treat as ignore..
If pbm love to read further pls check the National GP thread. I rest my case on this issue.

LWW??? You mean uncle Lee Wan Wah in his younger days? Yes I know, Goh Wei Shem & Goh Han Jiao.

Having 'gaya' on court does not mean they not trying hard. It does not equate lack of discipline like what Daniel expressed during National GP.
