    Excellent!

ALL the INA players progress to the SF as I predicted earlier!

    MS SF
    Taufik Hidayat
[1] vs Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk [4] - Taufik could be stretched but I think he will be more motivated to beat Tanongsak in the individual event tomorrow.

Simon Santoso [3] vs Derek Wong Zi Liang - Simon to beat Derek and hopefully win his second SEA Games individual Gold.

    WS SF
    Porntip Buranaprasertsuk
[1] vs Adriyanti Firdasari - with the huge crowd support behind her, Firda will be up for tomorrow's match. I hope she can cause an upset, although Porntip will have a slight edge.

    MD SF
    Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan
    [1] vs Nipitphon Phuangphuapech/Patiphat Chalardchalaem [4] - Bona/Ahsan should take this one.

Goh Wei Shern/Lim Khim Wah [3] vs Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [2] - match of the day for tomorrow and hopefully Kido/Hendra can beat the upcoming MAS pair.

    WD SF
Duang-Anong Arunkesorn/Kunchala Voravichitchaikul [1] vs Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine [4] - Nitya/Feinya should beat the THA pair again.

Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari [3] vs Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati [2] - I hope Vita/Nadya can win this one to create an all-INA Final!

    XD SF
    Ahmad Tontowi/Liliyana Natsir
[1] vs Songphon Anugritayawon/Kunchala Voravichitchaikul [3] - as I mentioned before, Towi/Butet need this title.

Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto [4] vs Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam [2] - it will be an upset if Rijal/Debby can beat the second-seed. Let's hope they can do that!

Great job, Indonesia. But for the sake of the finals day, I hope they would not be so dominant in the semifinals.

Wanna see a decent finals day spectacle ....... with Thailand challenges especialy. Much like the team finals.

Singapore's best chance for the final will be in the Women's Doubles. Yao Lei and Shinta Mulia Sari have not been convincing - but they can outlast Vita and Nadya if their defence can hold. Fu Mingtian can be very good or very poor - don't know which one will show up tomorrow. Derek Wong, if he can create doubt on Simon as Arif very nearly did, could have an outside chance.

Thailand would surely feature in WS, might even be a repeat of the 2009 WS all-Thai affair (but I hope not). A decent chance in the XD and MS as well. Kunchala may have to risk one of her semifinal ties and concentrate on one only.

Malaysia's chances would be slim against the Olympic champs' return to form. But Goh/Lim have done well against the Istora roar. So no pressure .......

Wow, I must say this Liew Daren is one of the biggest chokers... first against NTM, then against Simon, last against Taufik... keeps choking at crucial points especially when holding game point!!

As for GWS/LKW, I do hope that they can at least get a silver medal...
