So, Panda, how have your opponents reacted to your new found power and improved defence? Shocked? Amazed?:)

Or if they're also using Panda Power rackets, then that'll be an interesting game to watch!:D

Please do not overact, as it's not that dramatic. Never claimed it was. The post was just for comparison purposes. So no shock or amazement. :)

Why would the game be any different to watch based on the rackets used? The racket does not make the player.

Paraphrasing what others have said, it's similar to the 9900 but with a bit more punch. I believe that's a good assessment.

I would not say the T2 is "amazing", but it's definitely up there, it's definitely an excellent racket for the price.

Your closest distributor would be Malaysia or Singapore.

I suppose Panda doesn't want to overhype the racket to a high level of expectation...but I found the T2 amazing, I suppose, maybe because I was previously playing with a head heavy almost 2U Ti SP. I'm just singing praises everywhere because of new found power, swing speed, and its ability to let me delay my wrist flick, so I can play more deception shots.:D

    Anyways, thanks Panda!

Well, I was almost going to use that term on myself... but I'm aware of the T2's downsides as well. Namely, its paint that chips and scratches very easily. And the flexier shaft that feels like it can almost snap with a very hard smash, and that kinda makes it hard to control the angle of a hard smash. Hopefully, more playing time will allow me to adapt to it.

Eh, give me a month more. Then you can look up the term fanboi to see whether I'm still there.

Hahaha... alright, let's not pollute Dan's thread any further.

BTW, did you manage to try out the T2? I don't recall if you had answered my question from 2 days ago...

OK, let's not get carried away here. While I agree the paint finish on the T2 still is not as consistent as we like, so are good, so not so good (still need to work on this), the shaft is by no means flexi or going to snap off from a hard hit. The shaft is still stiff, just not extra or ultra stiff.

As for smash angle, that's the user not the racket. If your smash becomes harder, you need to jump higher to get better angle. It's a two-edged sword. :p

As of right now, there's nothing new in the pipeline. If there is anything new, I'll be sure to announce it.

I suppose if the T2 shaft can withstand Panda's (ab)use, then I should have more faith in it. :) .... It's just that, coming from a TiSP SS, I'm not used to so much bending of the shaft during smashing. This causes me to be unsure of where the racket frame is facing upon bird contact, and hence, my smash angle is now inconsistent. Perhaps another factor is also the faster swing speed, so timing of the snap becomes even more critical. Don't worry, I'll adapt. smash angle,

87.5g 291bp T2 sounds sexy. Maybe I'd buy one if I had the cash, but no cash at the moment. Maybe if I like how the 2 I ordered feel, I'd start looking for that "rare and elusive" racket.

Hey Dan, you should advertise on this site!

With the cash you provide, we could maybe be allowed to express some individuality with avatars and stuff, and maybe even be able to have more pm's in the inbox and maybe even not get censored so often. Heck, with the extra bandwidth we might even be able to post pictures you can actually see!

I think that would be a fantastic idea. What does everyone think.

Well, I have some prototypes and unique rackets that are "rare and exclusive" (not "elusive"). I wonder if people are interested in that kind of stuff. Maybe I should post them in the Buy/Sell?

Nope, not in the near future. Still trying to work on reducing the cost. I don't think people are ready for a $200+ Panda racket. :p
