The ZF's shaft is much smoother & nicer to hold than the vt80's. I guess vt80's is really 80's now.

N90's are hard to come by eversince the N90II came out! A local store only orders N90II and they sell out fast too!

The AT900P used to be my main racket and I thought it was awesome until I layed my hands on the AT700LTD which somehow just suited me. I went out and bought 5 more LTD's, a 1st gen, and a 2nd gen. To my suprise, the first gen was actually less head heavy, lighter, and less stiff than my LTD and you're right, it's felt like a slightly more head heavy version to the AT900P, but I didn't like it and ended up selling it off. The second gen feels like the LTD, but it's less stiff making it a little unstable~

In my opinion, if you stumble upon a racket that just happens to suits your style of play, it's a bond that you will seek to keep! You should have seen me with an Arc 10... I didn't do that racket any justice. All I need from Yonex is to recreate the AT700 and call it whatever they want (ZZZ FORK) and I'll give it a shot. Currently, I'm leaning towards the N90, but I'll see!

When will the review get posted? I'm going to buy this racquet but wondering should I get 3U or 4U. My current racquet is Carbonet 10 SP 2U-G4 (more than 10 years old) strung 25/26lbs with BG65TI. I mainly play double, my current racquet is quite light for me and I have never tried any head heavy racquet before. Do you think the racquet will be heavier than my crap 10 years old Carbonet 10 SP?

OK...here it is, the shaft's diameter just above the cone... for the VT80's it's 6.80 mm, and for VTZF it's 6.71 mm. Almost 0.10 mm difference...guess it's the thinnest in Yonex's history!!

^^ Thanx chili! But what about in the middle too, as that would be the most representative I'd think. :)

6.82 mm for ZF, right at the Z symbol, and equivalent spot on the VT80 measures 6.92 mm.

That's quite a generalized question...guess it'd depend on the type of stroke, be it smashing, driving, defensive etc...and where your grip is as well. Otherwise, a generalized answer would be ZF, IMO.

I played with it for almost 5 hours already, and I like the ZF, which I think is smoother and faster.

Hey dude, I was from Miri..41 years ago!!

You'd have to ask LCW that. I'm just an avid player, and it's fast enough for me to replace my VT80:D

i am intrigued...if zf is fast enough to engage in fast pace driving, then I definitely buy this 1...vt80 a little bit slow in fast pace driving

Cool! I'm from Cheras KL like 34 yrs ago! :)

The ZF should be faster and more powerful, only downside would be a little less forgiving due to smaller stringbed.
