I like her so much. She amazes me. Not being irritating to listen to her talking about her self. How she do that ?

Now I get it. What amazes me is that some news are being reported in some news sites and people just keeps on posting it here. Why? Are they reporter's reporter? hehe. ;) I think u know what I mean as it appears in other thread. ;). Free credits? ;)

    smart 16 years old kid!

STOCKHOLM (AFP) – A 16-year-old Iraqi immigrant living in Sweden has cracked a maths puzzle that has stumped experts for more than 300 years, Swedish media reported on Thursday.
In just four months, Mohamed Altoumaimi has found a formula to explain and simplify the so-called Bernoulli numbers, a sequence of calculations named after the 17th century Swiss mathematician Jacob Bernoulli, the Dagens Nyheter daily said.
Altoumaimi, who came to Sweden six years ago, said teachers at his high school in Falun, central Sweden were not convinced about his work at first.
"When I first showed it to my teachers, none of them thought the formula I had written down really worked," Altoumaimi told the Falu Kuriren newspaper.
He then got in touch with professors at Uppsala University, one of Sweden's top institutions, to ask them to check his work.
After going through his notebooks, the professors found his work was indeed correct and offered him a place in Uppsala.
But for now, Altoumaimi is focusing on his school studies and plans to take summer classes in advanced mathematics and physics this year.
"I wanted to be a researcher in physics or mathematics; I really like those subjects. But I have to improve in English and social sciences," he told the Falu Kuriren.

Thing is, I want to know the formula now! I know B numbers were previously only defined recursively so a closed expression would REALLY be something.

And they say badminton players are geeks.;)

I love stories like this. An outsider uses his brains and moxy to solve a supposedly impossible problem. And after a little resistance from the powers that be, everyone realizes what a genius he is. Good Will Hunting in real life! I just hope he can get the girl too. (math wizards are known for their social skills).:)

Baby boy born without a penis

KANGAR: While the birth certificate of 10-month-old Muhammad Nabil Mustaqim Rodzake states that he is male, he lacks a penis.
When he was born without the male organ last Aug 10 at the Tuanku Fauziah Hospital, he was subjected to a DNA test which confirmed he had more male characteristics.
[IMG] Unusual condition: Rodzake and Zatul Bazamah showing their son Muhammad Nabil at their home near Kangar. — Bernama
Nabil Mustaqim was also born without a right thumb, right ear and proper eyelids.
His mother, Zatul Bazamah Abd Rahman, is now seeking help from medical specialists to fix the problem.
    Zatul Bazamah, 26, said:
“We are sad to think that he will grow up without the male organ, and the emotional stress that awaits him.”
The baby – the second child in the family – is now receiving treatment at the Tuanku Fauziah Hospital and Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Star.
“We have been told that our son needs to wait a little longer for suitable treatment for his genitals while his other physical defects could be fixed with plastic surgery when he is four years old,” said Zatul Bazamah at the family home in Kampung Batu Lima near here.
The baby’s father, Rodzake Namis, 34, hoped the treatment could be carried out as soon as possible. — Bernama

HOW SMART IS YOUR RIGHT FOOT?

This is hysterical. You have to try this. It is absolutely true. I
guess there are some things that the brain cannot handle.

HOW SMART IS YOUR RIGHT FOOT?

You have to try this please, it takes 2 seconds. I could not believe
this!!! It is from an orthopedic surgeon............ This will boggle your mind and you will keep you trying over and over again to
see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It's pre-programmed in your brain!

    1. Without anyone watching you (they will think you are GOOFY.......)
and while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your
right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

    2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your
right hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I
both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

Send it to your friends to frustrate them too.

    I just did.

This is a lovely blast from the past.

Apparently this product was available from your neighbourhood pharmacist/chemist circa 1885. It must have been a best seller!
