The cab 20 power is even stiffer than the type V even though the type V is classified as 'stiff'. I do not have a shiden to compare. I would not buy the newer cab20 if you want to have the same stiffness as a cab 20 tour.
I have the shiden. The spec on the racket that you post look like the same as the shiden. Is this racket use M40 carbon?
definitely not shiden to me.... bigger frame, less stiff and shorter shaft. lastly... it seem to be built for doubles...
Here's a link to japanese Gosen site: http://www.gosen-sp.jp/products/?id=1374228907-874175&sca=1330652667-930863&p=1 According to that post... it uses "High Modulus Carbon, M30, M40" Hmmm so the handle is longer then? Because both have the same overall length of 675mm right?
The spec on my Shiden is 88g, flex: stiff, balance:middle and length:long. Seem like in the website it say type V has a sfiff of +2 and Shiden is +3. They should label the Shiden extra stiff. Shiden is a very fast racket. Does the bigger frame of the type V influence the speed of the racket?
the spec is correct as stated in in the website... Type V is faster and easier to wield w/o the damper... but with the damper, it will will differ...
in singapore... $210 with string and grip. word of advice: try to put on the damper before re-string ( it will improve the smash power ).. the additional grommets and damper, please keep it... if you like your racket to be fast with defence and manoveurity... then don't put the damper..
Could you guys share where you got your gosen racket from in Singapore? I hardly see any shop selling them here. Thanks.

Just had a go with this racket last week. I particularly love the swing feeling, the 'shark skin' material on 4 & 8 o'clock makes the stroke smoother and produces a high pitch sound. I was also surprised with sweet spot of this racket, although the frame is smaller than the normal isometric rackets, the sweet spot size is kinda similar. And the power generated by Type V in smashing is great. The shaft is med-stiff (+2), which doesn't require an extreme wrist power in order to maneuver it. (One drawback for the demo type V was the tension was set too low, it feels like 21 or 22 pounds. Really cannot test out the true potential of the racket.
i would also love to know which shop you bought it from in singapore. I been using tenbu for the last 3 years, but i got to buy it from hong kong back then. how does this compare to tenbu?
Played with this racquet for 4 hours, and am very impressed. I like the feel of good contact with this racquet. I had some timing issues, but hopefully that will be remedied through more use. I'm scared that this will make me start to consider more Gosen racquets!
