Ah ok. I really like wilson for their paint jobs too, they're like the best looking rackets. Besides paint I think I started using Wilson because of the low price but at the same time they feel like quality rackets. I especially like the BLX rackets, actually feel a difference in the feel. Yea sho sasaki was one reason I got the recon lol, just made me happy to see top players using Wilson. The one thing I disagree with is I wish Wilson made stiff rackets as well as flexible ones because I like playing competitively and only flexible and medium stiffness kind of sucks :(

Lol I don't know if they will release a new series or a couple of new BLX rackets like last year. Personally I'm hoping for a new series :p. hehe I don't collect whole series of rackets :D

Oh well,I think I can understand that because Wilson rackets back here is sold by a retail sports chain and we do not get free strings and grip as buying from other smaller sports shop as added value service, also not to mention that the market is still predominantly dominated by the likes of yonex, victor and other badminton traditional brands

Yea I know what you mean. Although it is making progress and I think it'll become a big badminton brand one day

I like the Recon and Wave a lot although the Recon took me a while to get used to. The Wave I like better and I was already used to it on my first day. Probably because transitioning from the Klite to the Wave is pretty easy...

I own the Blx recon. very solid racket with medium (flex). It is easy to smash down and has benefit from even balance at net area. The racket quite slows swing speed due to the head frame and medium flexbility. I tried Tactic TG80 it was good for power. I am gonna try BG70 Pro and Ashaway Zymax 62.

I played briefly with the sword, not a bad Racket to use,was powerful but takes some time to get a hold of how it works, not like some which is easy to use, prolly that's where the name "sword" comes into play, where u need to be skill in order to wield it hahahaha...but seriously jokes aside, all the blx that I have are relatively easy to handle and most of the higher end blx comes pre strung with toalson strings(tension however is unknown) and they are quite good for me until it needs to be restrung.

Anyways I have a habit of using the pre strung strings to get a feel of it before I restring and compare it after restringing

Maybe the new frame shape makes it take longer to get used to?

I find that intermediate n beginners will find ease in getting used to any rackets very fast as the style of play is not fully developed yet,so quite flexible in adjusting

Aren't you contradicting yourself? you said the blade wasn't easy to get used to since you were an intermediate player but now you are saying its easier if you're a beginner...
