Mixed doubles final match vid up on youtube now. WS soon to follow... http://youtube.com/watch?v=VbKO4AL7HwU watch in high quality to see the birdie
^^Excellent!!..^^ ..*woot*, yay the 1st video is up!!..YOU DID IT!!.......So, how many hours did it take you to upload the entire XD Final match??.. *Fred, appreciate again all your help and effort!!
the first part took the longest, because i had to find the best bitrate and format to work with and upload with. WS coming hopefully before the end of the day
So.. ..any details about the bitrate & format you used??...I know you probably spent some time post-processing the videos..Also, if you recall, how many hours did it take you to upload all 3 parts (of the XD??)....I've uploaded some videos to google before and at least it took me more than 16 hrs, per match..:crying: Oh, btw, are you planning to upload all of the videos?? I think others would like to see clips of the rest of the participants...If so, you'll be our hero!! *wished if i had one of those professional camcorders, though......maybe next time..
The final video format i uploaded to youtube was avi with divx codec at 4600kbps and mp3 audio at 128kbps dont' remember exactly how long to upload all 3 parts to the first one but each 10 min. seg. was about 300 something mb. takes about possibly 2 hours a segment? dunno i just use the bulk uploader had it uploading and left to rosemead to go play but it took less than 7 hours cuz when i got bak they were done yup i'll be uploading all of the videos. Those might take a bit longer because i'm gonna cut them and do stuff to them a bit. unless if you want them straight up first i can do that too.
Great!!.. ..that sounds about right for the format & bitrate. The high-quality version sure does help....Less than 7 hours to upload, for all 3 parts, is not bad at all!.. As for the rest of the videos, run with them and do whatever you want with them; add music, special fx etc. to them if you'd like.....Afterall, those are your creation and you deserve the credit!! Thanks again & looking fw to the rest of them!!
4600!?! Are you sure? Then youtube is killing it cuz it looks like 800 in HQ mode (why even use youtube?). I bet you can hardly tell the difference if you used a third of that 4600. Thanks for the hard work anyway so far
the original video wasn't very sharp to begin with, something chris and i could figure out why during the week. i tried bit rates around 1000 kbps but at that point it starts pixelating a lot and the bird simply "disappears" hahhah
Haha okay. I'll try downloading it and see how much is left of the 4600 ... update: part 1 is 47.1 MB 480x320 @ 833 kbps with 96 kbps mono audio is what's left after youtube's special HQ treatment.
Yeah.. ...it's the camcorder...Actually that's the way youtube or google treats videos that have been uploaded to their site. Nothing much we can do...about the quality of it.. Maybe next time, we'll use one of those professional camcorders......
