If that's the case, it would be nice. However going by the specs alone, it's kind of hard to believe that it's similar to the old AT700. As we know, the AT700 is a head heavy balance racket, with a slightly stiff shaft. The Arc8DX is a even balance racket with stiff shaft, so it's kind of hard to say that it's similar to the old AT700.

Lol!! I still prefer my 7. 8 is still a good racket to use depending on the player's style of play,

oh I played with the ArcSaber 8DX already.... it feels so good... just like using Arc 10 but hv more power when smash ... the only weird thing is when back hand not as strong as Arc 10 tho.. n also I feel more tired after. But overall it is a good racket.

Let's see wether there are single players will use and endorse Arc8-DX or not ? :)

Peter Gade maybe, or Simon Santoso :D

I think people should start caring less and less about what the pros use and more and more about what they actually play well with themselves. :)

I follow what pro players use simply to watch Yonex's marketing scheme. You can also see where Yonex targeted the racket by watching who uses it. Like the Arcsaber Z-Slash, supposedly the most powerful smash producing racket ever, was given to Taufik I believe, who made a huge splash on the scene with his backhand smash.

So where did Lee Chong Wei fit in? Or Marc Zwiebler (though that's probably a Yonex Germany idea)? He's still back to his trusty Arc7 after the Z-experiment :D

Don't see Gade switching rackets unless they stop producing the Arc10. Santoso is using Arc7?

I haven't watched in a while >.< but there used to be a trend. Gade was a trickster, so they like him using the Arc10 "control" racket, Lin Dan was powerful, so he was using AT700 at one point, right? Lee Chong Wei is an anomoly. I would have pegged him as an NS/AT900T marketing tool, but he's using the AT900P.

Anyways, I'm waiting for sohubuy to get an arc8 dx, then I'm gonna save up for a year and buy the entire upper echelon of Arcsabers at once. Or get completely distracted by a combination of Zelm and DC rackets. . . .

I think everyone from Lin Dan to Taufik to Gade (2005-Arc10) used AT700. You can probably replace "Chuck Norris" with "Armortec 700" and line up a bunch of quotes :D.
