Polish pair actually put up a decent fight in that game, but 3 cheap errors at 18-18 and they lose 21-18

Probably you and others who are into elves and fairies n sh&t :p

So much for that last straw for the PAW title as well; can't even step away for a few minutes and not come back to a sf failure by the red, white and blue

I think she is Zwiebler's gf actually. But yeah I see it too, well years ago already of course :p; and to top it off she has excellent fashion sense .
Sill think they shouldn't have broken up her partnership with Marcus Ellis years ago to suit Anthony Clark for those short final moments of his career. But Langridge now is a decent match and Ellis got (arguably nowadays) an upgrade with Gabby White :D.

Think I still have an excellent private cam match of Ellis/Olver vs Adock/White now that I think of it ...

Former European Junior CHampion, Emil Holst that is who is now taking badminton more seriously after completing his studies I read the other day. The result was not a major surprise to me given Andre seems to like to play at a leisurely pace and Holst comes ready to play 100%. Lots of pacing around by both players in between points near the end and perhaps throughout making it a pain to watch (at least the short bit I caught). Probably was the biggest prospect after Jorgensen before Axelsen came around iirc ...
I must say Andre started excellent this time though, hitting the lines and everything. Was looking good for him before I left. Reflected in the scoreline graphs as well so then another factor, stamina, must've come into play.

Stolzenbach taking the 1st set after a comeback in the meanwhile. So tempted to PAW it but have to make them all count . Jorgensen losing to some unusual players lately making it a somewhat logical pick but she seemed to have Stolzenbach's number so you never quite know [IMG].

Well, INA is left with 2 representatives in the SF after Andre, AG/Yoke, and Pia/Rizki lost.

    MD SF
Lukasz Moren/Wojciech Szkudlarczyk [1] vs Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra - Kido/Alvent are up against the top-seed. Hopefully, they can beat them.

    XD SF
    Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth
[7] vs Marcus Ellis/Gabrielle White [6] - a tougher opponent for Kido/Pia perhaps? OK, this time I am hoping they can win the title (a bit tough with the presence of Mads Pieler Kolding/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl.

Weird first game but the English pair did good work keeping MK from the backcourt. G2 seems to be in favor of the Indonesians so far.

Oh dear, Pia/Kido lost. goes to show that many of the relative unknown European players are no pushovers.

On duty next is the young Danish European junior champion Emil Holst up against the Dutch veteran Dicky Palyama, the home favourite.

Hehe I guess you posted as I had already opened a reply the post above. Didn't see it before. To correct/fyi: former european junior champion back in 2009 (held every two years). No coach with him for some reason ...

The Dutch no.1 got one back and leading 6-4 in the decider. Not bad to watch, many interesting moments. DEN really lives up to her reputation as the powerhouse of Europe.
