LOL, why so surprised of a no show from TH???? Not his first time nor his last time. To me, the excuse of staying home for more training is a cop out. Amazing that all of the sudden he cares about his ranking position?? a trip to Canada will probably cost him a week or two of practice. Taufik wouldn't take a plane all the way and fly back immediately when he's done. maybe he's under a contract and because of recent results from tournaments, the team thinks he can regain number 1. it sucks, i know.

If the organizer of this event announced that TH will be star guest, I'm sure this organizer had very high confident (+95%) that a deal with TH have been struck. R u telling me that TH is that inept that he doesn't know his schedule and other commitment only a couple months ago? I believe the MAS open is not a last minute event that threw off TH, is it? plane trip to and back 3 days, appearance 1 day. Total 4 days, not 1-2 weeks.
