    well
the 2nd tier mas team(for me,3rd/4th for kak helang) beat indonesia to earn the 3rd slot in wjc mixed team:D

    i am so happy
obviously nelson is the better choice than teo ee yi
and the 1st time partnership between nelson/shevon almost win the 1st point for u,but lost 19-21 in rubber set is more than enough:)

both yang li lian and sonia face the same problem
    hopefully
    with more on court experience
    they can excel next year

azriyn lost 18-21 in rubber set to riyanto
which is a great achievement to score so much against a highly rated opponent
azriyn still have 1 more ajc and wjc to go
    thanks to wong tat meng:)

    if i not mistaken
teo/nelson opponent in the play off is the one of the so called asian top 3 md player(other than this is ow/yew,choi/kang)
teo/nelson beat them in straight set
    credit to nelson/teo
both of them is only 17
they are malaysia hope for md next year:D
but teo have some mental problem, need to get fixed, like yhk;)

yang li lian patnered shevon lai for the 1st time in tournament
and surprisely cliched the winning point for malaysia
both of them played rubber set before this
and this is the 2nd rubber set for them in the tie
and yet they able to win it

well done to all the 17 years old boys and girls^^
    :D

to badmania:limsy again, predicted malaysia will have atleast silver in ajc and wjc 2011;)

    For me, is 3rd team.
Actually ah, if you see the link Sandy provided in WJC thread, Nelson/Shevon partner before in Asia U16 tourney, I also surprised :)

You must add, provided that it's the best line up, if 2nd, 3rd team, must re-adjust :p

Under-strength Malaysia beat Indonesia to claim bronze“They are our top bets for indi

“They are our top bets for individual honours and we want them to concentrate fully on the tasks,” he said.
“It will be quite taxing as it is a 128-player field for the singles and they have to get ready for tough matches.
“We gave the others the chance to experience matchplay before the individual competitions and they gave good accounts of themselves.
“It’s good to see Li Lian managing to shine and it will give her the confidence for the individual singles and doubles (partnering Sonia) competitions.”

His injury is the sad case. I hope he can bounce back after he has fully recovered from the injury and be the next LCW, or at least a WCH. :)

    last year
wjc was in our own backyard
but we only have 6 player/pair in quater final
    2 in semi
1 winner and 1 runner up

    this year
we have 2 from xd in quater
one of them advance to semi final
    none in ms and wd
    one in ws quater final
2 md in quater(both should get the slot in semi)
we are 2 ws short from the full squad but we are doing quite well here again
should have 3 semi finalist in 2010:)

Ow Yao Han/Yew Hong Kheng has a rematch against the Denmark MD who almost beat them in straight sets before they saved 3 match points, and went on to win 27-25 in the second and won the final game during the team event. Best of luck to them. I'll keep my fingers crossed for an all-Malaysia final for the BD, best of luck to Nelson/Teo who are facing the opponents who dumped the AJC champions :D

And our third semi-finalist, Ow/Lai, I hope they can progress without making Ow too tired.
