INA lost another XD pair in XD R64 as Gea Kamahamas/Marsheilla Gischa Islami lost to Tan Jin Hwa/Goh Yea Ching in straight-sets.

3 XD pairs advance to R32 to be played tomorrow and we may only have 1 pair (at most 2 pairs) by R16:
Alexander Bond/Ditte Soby Hansen [9/16] vs Reinard Dhanriano/Nisak Puji Lestari - honestly, not sure how this will turn out to be as the INA pair is facing a seeded pair from DEN. Hopefully, the INA pair can progress.

Ooi Zi Heng/Yap Zhen vs Raffidias Akhdan Nugroho/Zakia Ulfa [5/8] - a tricky match involving MAS opponents as always. Still, Raffi/Zakia are expected to progress.

Mohd Rian Ardianto/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari vs Kim Jung Ho/Kim Hye Jeong [2] - an unlucky draw for Rian/Rosyita and INA fan can only hope for the best from them.

Meanwhile, in the BS and GS, INA's Jonatan Christie [1], M. Bayu Panghistu [9/16] and Ruselli Hartawan [9/16] cleared their first matches easily. Ruselli is expected to test the first-set Akane Yamaguchi [1] (assuming the Japanese beat Chen Xiaoxin of CHN in R32) in R16. That will be a tough one for her. Jonatan is expected to progress at least to QF where Lin Guipu [5/8] or Lee Cheuk Yiu [9/16] will await him.

In the 3 remaining GS matches, a massive match for Gregoria Mariska vs Busanan Ongbumrungpan [2] today. Ditto for Aurum Oktavia Winata in facing another seeded player Luise Helm [9/16], while Fitriani is expected to progress at the expense of Yeo Jia Min.

In the remaining BS match, Anthony Ginting [9/16] is also expected to progress.

Finally, 3 BD matches later in the afternoon. Althof Barriq/Reinard Dhanriano [9/16] and Danang Haryandika/Ivan Gunardi are expected to progress to R32, while Mohd Rian Ardianto/Clinton Hendrik Kudamasa [9/16] have a tough opener against Kenya Mitsuhashi/Yuta Watanabe. The Japanese pair also pushed the reigning AJC champion Huang/Zheng to 3-sets during the Mixed-Team Championships SF and beat Althof/Reinard in the AJC Individual Event QF.

What is your opinion about him ?? I thought he got an easy draw until round 3. But he lost in first round itself.. Have you ever watched him playing?? I think he need to transfer his bagpacks to some other coaching centres instead of doing it in his father's..

These players CHum Jun Wei , Goh Jin Wei , Lee Chong Wei :)D) all are dangerous.. Chum Jun wei already started beating china's best Lin Guipu. My two cents..

Yes, I have watched him play.
    I can't say I'm very impressed.

He has not yet beaten a player of note either on the international circuit or in India.
The only remarkable result he has yet had is a win against Saurabh Varma's brother.

From what I remember of him, Joshi is just another all-round player.
He has a long way to go before he can beat even his seniors in India.

Well, a small upset as Aurum Oktavia Winata beat the seeded player from Germany easily. Aurum will have a tough match against Park Sun Young tomorrow. Fitriani also just advances to R32 and another meeting with Chen Yufei [9/16] awaits her. Ruselli Hartawan [9/16] should progress against Brittney Tam.

In BS, Anthony Ginting [9/16] will face a tricky match against THA's Kantawat Leelavechabutr for a place in the last 16. Jonatan Christie [1] and M. Bayu Panghistu [9/16] should advance to R16 to face (possibly) Anders Antonsen [9/16] and Shi Yuqi [2], respectively.

She was entered in this championships.
However, she didn't play in the WS.

    I have no idea why.
