apart from the capability to cope with, it was also a matter of the playing style. some are not so vulerable to wind direction change and some would be, if the playing style need higher precision.

LD will concede a walkover to CL if both qualified for the QF.

MO11 does not factor into WR points for OLY12 so LD really does not need to play MO11. LD is playing in MO11 this time is because MO is one title LD does not have. It is kinda hard to retire and looking back that LD is missing a Malaysian title, since MAS is one of the 5 baddy power in the world, why not try win it. After all, LD beating a top form LCW last year in TC in MAS prove it can be done. There is no way LD will throw the match to CL. CL playing a top form LCW at home with all the boleh fans is suicidal;)

The Malaysia Open title is yet to be won by Lin Dan

    .
Agree. The Malaysia Open title has yet to be won by Lin Dan.

Somehow I get a feeling that Lin Dan will never win this one.

    Why? It's a gut feeling that I have, that's all. :p:p:p

No, I really mean it...MAS is LCW home ground and LCW has won 6 going for a 7th. LD, having won just about everything, and missing only a MO title, and realizing that presently, he is still good enough to win it why not try. After all, he did beat a top form LCW last year in KL in the same stadium.
When I said MAS is one top 5 baddy powerhouse, that is true, based on MAS rich history in badminton. Now, if you say, is MAS a contender 3 years from now, well, looking at the elite or what-nots, then it is like a cooked turkey, really habis lah.
Not only that, LD will play IO, another missing title that TH has won like half a dozen.

I am putting one of my room in this one and if I lose, I will bet my house on the LD vs LCW match. Waiting for the odds.

Ya especially since the last time CHN MS player won in IO was back in 1989, and since then there is no CHN MS player even win in INA soil.

In fact LCW is the first foreign MS player who won INA Open back to back

Yop, I did not say LD will win IO, I say he will play IO this year and next year too. Times are a changing, INA is not as strong as yesteryears in MS, I wouldn't say too loudly that LD or another CHN player will not win IO. One thing I would like to bet with you is INA will not win IO MS this year.
