I believe Wang Lin is also affected by the crowd. General support was against her and she wasn't able to handle it.

On TV, you might not hear all that noise that strongly, but in real life, it's very loud and can be intimidating especially to younger players.

I should thanx to Chang Hsin Yun (Taiwanesse player/Chou Chia Chi's partner) for bringing me in to the player's lounge...
I did take picture with Wang LIn..At that time she was talikng to her coach,so I stood behind her and asked my fren to take the pic..

After I watched her performances during INA Open SS since R1 until final,
I'm officially devoted myself as Wang Lin's fanatic fans right now

She's young, pretty, and very talented. It's just a matter of time for her to be WR1 in WS. Its too bad she lose to Saina Nehwal in INA Open SS Final, but i'm sure she will win more titles in many years to come.

I hope next year she will come to INA Open again , so i can try my luck to have a picture with her . I have no luck this year

I believe that she's already played Saina a couple of times before... most recently in the Singapore Open QF where Wang Lin won.

But, I concur with everybody here... Wang Lin is really cute and has a lovely smile.

OMG, why can't a guy that already has a girlfriend hang around with WL? WL is also considered as Xie Xin's friend what. Why can't they hang together? They are just friend okay? Come on friend, be open-minded

 

I think I was lucky too ...and of course I shook hand with her ( I would not waste this chance) and other China players even with Chai Biao,Liu XL and XIa XuanZe

 

Hmmm.... first time I saw her playing is IO final. ^^. I think she is not kind of 'rally' player. Agree with some of u said that she is impatient. ^^.

I agree... She leaves too much opening for Saina to attack- or counterattack. She just can't keep up with long, tiring rallies- she much preferred drop-shots and net tricks although they are potential disadvantages to her

But IO finals made me fall in love with her

I saw a vid about Gao Ling's wedding on Youtube and there was Wang Lin, with make up and everything, looking pretty. But then I saw her at IO, and she's SOOO pretty in real life! Very very very cute! TV doesn't do her justice!
