We shall see.. ..let's wait & see what he has to offer.. Btw, looking at the pics above, wow, the knob on his racket's handle is quite bulky. Quite a thick grip handle also; he must have long fingers and a strong hand/grip

Ullin-Berry are talented and know how to win, but Rendy is considered half-a-class above them... Rendy-Angga are going to play in: INA National Circuit - Tegal, Central Java, this week INA National Circuit - Surabaya, East Java, next week INA Challenge - Jakarta, in 2 weeks time (optional for them) INA National Circuit - Denpasar, Bali, in 3 weeks time All in the adult [all age] category... I think the INA national badminton scene are the most active among all ASEAN countries... Don't know about China/Korea/Japan/Taiwan/India... but lNA's domestic tournaments are very active nowadays... PBSI wants to make sure our youths have a lot of chances to gain match experience in their development years... The new tournament system encourages U-19 players like Rendy-Angga to compete against adults with high level of playing experience...
Butet may partner with Tantowi and they will have a try out at French and Denmark Open....or may be sooner?
What happened Lius & Marleve said the opposite condition abt Maria ? and Sony ? http://www.jawapos.co.id/sportivo/index.php?act=detail&nid=81750
^^Uncertainties for the INA squad abound prior to the World Championships meet..^^ ..translating the content of the article, above, briefly: ========================================================== PBSI's (Indonesian Badminton Association) Head of Development & Affairs, Lius Pongoh, has given some sort of warning & is considering withdrawing both of Sony's & Maria's name from the next month's Worlds. The final decision on their participation will be made after a final consultation with PBSI's Chief Djoko, sometimes next weekend, @ end of July. With Sony, the main reason is on the basis that he's been absent from the national training center since July 9th, and has gone back to Surabaya in preparation for his upcoming wedding, scheduled on July 25th. Sony, however, reiterated that he'll be ready and available, on the 29th & come the Worlds; he further insisted that he's been training, once even twice daily. Lius' main argument for this new warning is that, he wants Sony to be prepared 100% for the Worlds. And even if Sony is ready @ 100%, there's no guarantee that he could win. ========================================================== Lius also gave a possibility of withdrawing Maria K. Yulianti on 2 reasons. One is that they feel she has a low motivation for the Worlds. Second, that her current progress from her right knee injury hasn't improved. Along with Sony, they will give a final decision on her participation next week, @ end of July. ========================================================== On the other hand, Marleve Mainaky, who is the Women's Singles coach, refuted such claim by Lius & defended the WS player by saying Maria's recovery from her knee injury has improved. Everything seems to be okey-dokey and she is in a good condition and she's all ready and charged up to show the rest of the world that she still has something to prove. ========================================================== The INA squad is scheduled to leave for India on August 7th.
is there any plan for Tantowi's current partner, Richi Puspita Dili? so sad their partnership will ended so fast. IMO they are quite promising, reaching semifinal in their first appearance at India Open 2009, won against first seeded (Yohan/Chou) and just lost again Vita/Flandy. CMIIW.
hey guys, is anyone familiar with this pair? riky widianto/komang wijaya who are apparently one of the two INA pairs competing in thai GP 09
riky(or Ricky) widianto play for Singapore until 2008.. Don't know when he moved to Singapore.. Now he play for Indonesia again..
When in Djarum, I Komang Sandy paired with Wifqi Windarto (now in Pelatnas paired with Afiat Yuris) There 2 pairs in 2006 Afiat/Danny Bawa Wifqi/Komang Sandy In 2007 splitted because Afiat & Wifqi still junior age (born 1989) while the others born 1988, and the pairs to be: Wifqi/Afiat Danny Bawa/Komang Sandy Danny Bawa hired by SIN then and Komang lonely in Petamburan then moved to Surabaya and joined to Wima club and pairing with Riky Widianto who back from SIN
Yup, so many local tourneys now... And we'll have 10 series of National Circuit next year. (KOMPAS, July 24/09)
what an unbelieveable statement from narnia!!! he/she might be wrong sometimes but he did state that koo/tan to win swiss open before swiss open. will narnia strike again?
No no, she was misquoted in that particular point... I know people who were at that press conference... Bu Mimi never said there will be TEN National Circuits... What is for sure, INA will have: 8 National Circuits: 1 in Sumatra, 1 in Sulawesi, 1 in Kalimantan, and 1 in Eastern Indonesia (like Bali/NTT/Maluku/Papua), 4 in Java Jakarta/Banten/West Java/Central Java/Jogja/East Java) Numerous Private Tournaments that produce PBSI ranking points: so far the traditional tournaments are Surabaya's Walikota Cup, Solo's PMS Cup, Jakarta's Astec Cup, Pertamina Open, and Tetra Cup Open National Championships
At Tegal Open,..all INA WS pratama lost to Djarum girls.. in SF...Ana Rovita beat Rosaria and Febby defeated Fira...again Febby has no match in WS.time for her to compete outside. in MS..still old Budi vs Fauzi in final.. Trikus/Vita got to SF after defeating Devi/partner...
