Tommy won an easy 2nd set against BP, seems like naistav is right, BP is tired already.

    Well played Tommy Sugiarto.

Boonsak should have retired after he called for the doctor, he clearly wasn't trying from that point and didn't seem to be able to hit with any power, smashes or clears (when out of position).

Couldn't see it well in livestream, but it was actually more like Kenichi went offcourt to look for a new racquet but did not find one or something like that, so it was Misaki versus Robert/Nazieda for a very short while, then Kenichi decided to stay at the side for a drink after the point was lost. Quite funny scene.

Well done Tommy Sugiarto! He reached his first Final this year, after rejoining Pelatnas. Hopefully, he will improve further under Joko Suprianto and reaches top 10, after failing to reach it while he was an independent player.

No pressure facing Chen Long tomorrow as a rubber-set will be considered an improvement!

Yes,you're right, that translates to Wang Yihan being more stable and reliable as well. LXR, as we've seen her occasionally, can inexplicably suffer lapse of concentration (brain-fade) and play like an amateur ( I almost want to say idiot), very frustrating to see.

Thanks for telling us that, livestream was so laggy I couldn't really make out what's happening to Boonsak.

None unfortunately. It was livestream. Don't know if I remembered it correctly, but it seemed almost as funny as the one where Ayaka won the match after sitting on the floor.
Sayaka is up next. I rank her among the world's best now, but Juliane is a lot more about speed.

I'm guessing but from what the doctor was doing it looked like some kind of back injury. I'm not sure Boonsak could twist his body so pretty much didnt hit a smash the entire second game. The one smash I saw him go for he almost mishit/sliced it. He didnt seem able to dive/lunge to return smashes, something he was doing regularly in the first game.

That shouldn't take anything away from Tommy as he was superb in the first set, and did what was needed in the second.

if she can beat JS today, and also if she can beat WYH tomorrow. I can tell you, it's a wise decision to move to Unisys. :D

I expect Sayaka Takahashi to be on a high after beating LXR yesterday, hope that carries over today and she gives Juliane a run for her money. Not easy though for Juliane's power play and rich store of experience should be a deciding factor.
