Actually weight is not an issue. Head heaviness is the issue. For NS 9900, it is also a 3U racket, but it swings extremely light. Although VT80 is also a 3U, but the head heaviness make the racket too heavy to swing because it demands more power to exert.
If you trust your ability so well, then I am glad for you. Waiting for your comments after using it. Hope you like it=)
I think there is no problem for you unless you crash the rackets with another one or u knock it on floor. So far I had never heard of any broken vt 80 before. Perhaps paint chips got a lot =p
Ok thing is Ive crashed my current racket with my partner alot I've got chips but thing else. Will I be able to get away with this with vt80
Not sure. Depends on his racket and how it crashed with your racket too. If he is using harder material racket, your racket will suffer the consequences. Make sure you be careful when play with your partner. If he / she is your normal partner, I think it is not so easy to crash with him.
Yes a freak accident and so far the only one to post pics of his/her broken VT80. Whether it's an indication or not the recommended max string tension is higher than usual for Yonex rackets, on par with their DX models (ARC8DX and 5DX) ...
I played with it for the first time this weekend and felt amazing I was able to hitsmashes like never before, also I went to my high street shop and they confirmed it Is original
Helps needed..from Sendai Japan Dear BC forumers, Good day!. I am currently living in Japan. I used to play badminton 2-3 times a week in MAS before i came to Japan. I am thinking of getting new racket in Japan, because I left my rackets (ProaceTi8 & RSL 7490) at home. Instead of sending it over, I think it's more convenient for me to get a new racket here. I prefer to play with my fav. Proace Ti8(almost 12years ) over my new RSL7490 (bought in 2007) because RSL is lighter, and less powerful esp. come to double game. I think i am very used to mid flex and less stiff racket. Here in Japan, most Japanese are using Yonex and it's pretty common here, however, I am not a big fan of Yonex simply because IMO, yonex is abit overpriced compared to other rackets with the same quality and features. One of my friend recommends Gosen to me, RootAermet 6900. can anyone pls advice, between gosen and yonex or any other good brands? pls advice. How about mizuno/wilson/toalson? BUDGET: 300-500RM, 9000-12000yen Racket preferences: less stiff, medium flex. level: intermediate many thanks, BC can't wait to get back into actions sendai, JP
