I was at the senior internationals last night (watching) and I can't wait to play next year with my Panda Anyhow I think I might have swayed a few people to try it out. I just need the replacement grommet to string it up
Trinity Pro will be available by end of Jan 2011 in the US only, Malaysia will get it by end of February, you need to pre-order for it. Precision : you can read more previous PAGES Ultra Pro will be arriving in Malaysia less than two weeks time. Revelation is not be produced until further notice ....
REVELATION IS CANCELLED. Trinity Pro is expected January 30th. The Precision has been widely reviewed already (search). Most Ultra Pro buyers are still waiting to receive their rackets or have only had them a short time (not long enough to form a considered opinion).
What? No way, I thought it's development was only stopped for a while until Panda found the matching shaft(or the frame?). And, whoever the webmaster for DCBadminton's site need to get the site updated with new screenshots etc.
I don't think it's that easy. It has to be like.. step1) Make *good* racquets. step2)promote step3)profit! And for all that, you need good connections..
I believe there's a problem with the manufacturer that's why it's delayed indefinitely / cancelled for the time being. @Panda, there's still lots of interest for the Revelation!!!!
out of curiousity, are there any advanced players who use panda as their go-to racquet in competition? Or better yet, anyone use a Panda racquet to win a competition? I'm asking because I've yet to see anyone above intermediate level use a Panda racquet on a regular basis.
Professionals are all sponsored by major companies. Most are paid to use and support the product. Even those who are paid at least get sponsored free equipment. DC Badminton is about as small as you can get and do not sponsor any players. So naturally there are top pros using it.
In my mind, cancelled means it has been stopped and will never be continued. Perhaps that's what confusing me. :S Oh well, I'm sure Panda is doing his best in making Revelation, or maybe a whole new racket.
I don't mind it being a "small" business model, it's a good feeling to know that in my group I'm the only one using panda power stuff. That being said, I only wish Panda much success so I'm sure over time the decision of staying small or going big will have to be decided, which I'm sure he's already thought of plenty!
Well, I know no top players are using it... I was more referring to advanced players who aren't sponsored... Those competitive enough to do well in local or regional tournaments. For a small company, Panda has penetrated into Toronto's badminton community very well... but I've yet to see anyone successful use a Panda racquet and do well in any sort of competition (be it inter-club, local, regional, provincial, national, or international). btw, sponsor PopsiclePete, he seems like a good guy,
Well, wouldn't that be amazing! It's not as if I run the club here in London, or string people's racquets...or organize smaller tournaments...I'm just a small fish
on second thought, make it a conditional sponsorship where he has to give me all his non-Panda racquets.
If you had a choice between getting a couple of Panda racquets sponsored, or having to buy a Revelation, what would you choose?
