The 2014 FIFA World Cup Final is between Argentina and Germany

    .
LOL. Luckily, I didn't place any bets.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup Final is between Argentina and Germany.

It's still good; Why? Because we have a South America-Europe Final.

    My prediction is:

0-0 after 120 minutes. Germany wins by penalty kicks.

The problem is South America is better than Europe in penalty kicks.

2014 FIFA World Cup Final match: Argentina-vs-Germany

    .
    I pick Germany to win.

Why? Just because Germany gets more support from the Brazilian crowd. I think it will encourage Germany to play better. :):):)

Indeed, what a stunning scoreline, hard to believe that host Brazil lost tamely to Germany  Without Neymar & the captain, five times champ is nothing, humiliated by Der Panzer in front of their home fans, nightmare!

Yup, it's mouth watering final clash, rematch of 1986 & 1990 FIFA WC Finals, classic :)

My friend place a bet on a winning margin by 5 goals. The payout was 150 times.
He bet 100 bucks and got 14,900.
He was destined to win. He tried to place bets for 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 and so on but unsuccessful.
Then he saw the high payout of 150 times and just gave it a shot.
It was tough and excitement after 30 minutes when Germany was leading 5-0. Imagine the tension.
    One lucky guy.
    Joy on Brazil's misery.

This is the worst Brazil team I ever watched since I started watching football in 1974 (the Beckenbauer - Cruyff era) - no offense (even before Nejmar was injured), defense sucks. Passes - off target, defense - kept making mistakes. Even the 1974 Brazil team was better.

Third place will feel a lot better than fourth place

    .
    Unfortunately, Brazil came 4th.

    Saturday 12-July-2014 Match Result:
    Brazil 0-3 Netherlands.

    The Netherlands got 3rd place.

Dreadful indeed, no Plan B at all. Substitutions tell the whole story (throughout the tournament): Fernandinho for Luis Gustavo (same position), Hernanes for Paulinho (same position) and Hulk for Ramires (probably Hulk switched position with Oscar and Hernanes dropped back deeper so still no change). Where's Kaka' when you need him :p!

But the starting eleven are still the ones that dominated last year's Confed Cup, although Kaka' was playing then be it as a substitute iirc ... They just completely underperformed, perhaps after all due to the WC pressure (although as explained before half the team hadn't had the best of club season's behind them to begin with)

PSG must be very pleased they spent almost their entire transfer kitty on David Luiz (restricted due to UEFA punishment) :D

2014 FIFA World Cup Final match: Argentina-vs-Germany

    .
    Sunday 13-July-2014 Final Match: Argentina-vs-Germany

    My guess: Germany 1-0 Argentina

Why? Because both teams will want to play with care. And most Brazilians are cheering for Germany. :):):)
