Many of us didnt agree when Mak/TWK got selected but we are not the coaches. All the while I didnt agree to Mak partnering TWK, am waiting for them to change partner
of course wearing earrings doesn't effect their performance unless they are wearing a dumb bell! you mentioned feeling good expression, exactly what i mean if they are feeling good about themselves, express it to their trainers and country by displaying their skills and trash their opponents. these players are supposed to concentrate and focus on winning not just training like the back up anymore. i see these two players have potential huge potential, otherwise tkh would not bet on them but they must know how to give 100% commitment including giving up socializing etc etc just be themselves, they are who they are.
I agree with danielwong that they should not wear earrings but for me it's purely for maintaining discipline in the squad, like how boys are not allowed to wear them in school, nothing to do with performance. But Daniel wants to rest it, well, let's not talk about it any longer. But I definitely agree with you that it does not mean lack of discipline, but in school if the top male student wears earrings it does not mean that he doesn't want to study, but it is still not allowed.
If have no proof to prove whether Mak/Tan try hard or not and I won't goreng this issue. Of coz I don't need to mention the ring issue again as mentioned. But just see their results so far and see how good they are.
true, wearing tidy uniform doesn't mean a good student but majority of them wearing tidy uniform are good students. i see them everyday for the past 7 years lol
Try Hard Or Not??? Not my word... Thursday November 18, 2010 The Star Kim Her takes blame for poor show A VISIBLY disappointed national back-up squad doubles coach Tan Kim Her has taken responsibility for the toothless defeats of Mak Hee Chun-Tan Wee Kiong. And he has vowed to turn the young pair into gutsy fighters. On Tuesday, the duo hardly gave a fight in the 17-21, 6-21 defeat by Japanese Endo Hiroyuki-Kenichi Hayakawa in the opening round. Kim Her admitted that he had over-rated his players. “I am very disappointed with Mak and Tan. They did not fight all the way. They gave up too easily,” said Kim Her. “It was their first Asian Games and, to me, it was not so much about winning or losing but it was all about the spirit and determinatino to fight until the end. “They have to realise that the hopes of the whole nation were on them. “I thought they were ready for the big stage but, in reality, a lot more work is needed to develop them. I will give a report on their below-par performances to the BAM (Badminton Association of Malaysia) and I am ready to take the rap for it.”
this is a very crucial stage for mak/tan after this recent fall-out, not only the cover of the book but the pages has been flipped. tkh knows their strength already in big stage and i see he is going to be tough on them from now onwards maybe not physically as his already hard training can't go any harder..lol i think its going to more on developing their self confidence together and make sure its just nothing else but pure effort during training. to get rid their fear they need to know the 100% they are giving now. can and know how is 2 different things. let's wait for tkh to do his job and i am sure he can and will turn this pair into monster!
TKH is a good coach, willing to take responsibilty. I wonder if Rashid Sidek dares to say something like that? Give up too easily, it means that when they were down they stopped fighting and have the loser mentality already. Let's see if he can change them into gutsy fighters like he said.
Nah, he got fooled by their skills probably but forgotten about their loser's mentality. And also their H2H to inside pairs rather than outside pairs~
Yes, that's right... Does Rashid dare to stand up and take responsibility for their single player's defeat? All the fault on players again?
More opportunities shd be given to the other 2 pairs.Somehow CPS-LKW pair is not given as much attention..can do better,, better mental strength
