Hello, everyone! I'm a college student in Guangzhou, senior three now. i play badminton about 3~4 times a week. i mainly play in outdoor courts in our school coz indoor courts are always extraordinarily expensive during the weekend when we have time. Is there anyone here in the forum from GZ?
i visited Guangzhou in 1992. A local relative took me to a local club of mostly 10-14 year old. Met 2 instructors there.
Great changes have taken places in Guangzhou. After its successful bid last year for 2010 Asian Games, the government increases its budget in sports facilities. Badminton is more and more popular here, more and more badminton games are held here, both domestic and international. world no.1 players such as XIE Xingfang, ZHANG Jiewen```` it's said that the authority would put badminton on the list of Guangzhou's City sports item. Next time when u come to China, be sure not to miss all the great changes ~~
I'm from GuangZhou ... I was born there and had lived in GuangZhou until 5 years ago , when I had to move to Canada . Can't wait until this summer ~! Going to GuangZhou , HongKong and ChangSha . Heard that GuangZhou had changed signifigantly since year 2000
I'm living in ShenZhen too. Like to meet the friends who play (or want to play) here. my email: honeyrocky@21cn.com
Yeap, there is a new highway that goes over the city centre to relieve the conjestion and a new airport too. But the city is still very filthy.
True, but it wasn't as bad as I last remembered it . It has subways now and everything... as for the pollution and all, well what can you expect from such a populated city? ...
Some...but their high end prices costs more than the NS9000 or AT900..so,there r less ppl playing with them.
