    I bought it brand new in 1988 and it's my main camera at work from 1991 to 1997. But it has been retired shortly after I got a F5 from the newspaper company.
    As for the motor drive. It's a MD4 with maximum driving speed of 5 frames per second. Though it's relatively slow when comparing to a modern DSLR. It was one of the fastest motor drive in the market at that time.
    You know, I m gonna hang it on the wall as one of my home decoration. That would be a good one!:)

    ..of what's to come in 20+ yrs time, when we all look back at the Canon 1D MarkIII...;)

    that's scary! backelite can only melt at high temperature & has good durable properties. :eek:

    Chris, That F3 still works great. Just as good as it should be! The only bad thing that we can find is just a little cosmetic imperfection.:p
    On the contrary, I think the life cycle of all DSLRs are shorter. Therefore, other than the functionality. It might still look as good as a new one after 20 years!
